I hit the abuse button on me. Good grief.

I’m gonna go take the dogs for a walk now...hope I don’t get lost or something.

I've hit the abuse button on myself before. I don't even know what you wrote but most people here know you to be a decent person. Just let it go and forget it.

Thank you for your service. My father and my uncles who served if WWII have passed away.

My Dad was an Gunner’s Mate on an LST in the Med. His youngest brother was in the Army and horribly wounded at Anzio. His oldest brother was an MM in the Navy, just not sure where. One of his brothers-in-law, my uncle, was a Lt Col. who was with the OSS.

My Dad and I talked about being on liberty in the Med after I came back from my first cruise.

My dad’s only three years behind you, but still going strong! He was in the navy in WWII.

To: I still care

No, Harry Patch, a British veteran is still alive, as is Henry Allingham, the last founder member of the RAF and last surviving participant in the Battle of Jutland...
