Texas Polygamy Case Based on a Lie
LiveScience.com ^ | Thu May 22, 5:50 PM ET | Benjamin Radford

Posted on 05/23/2008 10:12:33 AM PDT by LeGrande

"The raid - resulting in the largest child custody case in American history - was based on a lie."

"Police traced the calls to 33-year-old Colorado Springs woman named Rozita Swinton. Swinton had earlier been arrested for making a false report, and accused of posing as "Jennifer," 16, who called 911 to report that her father had locked her in a basement for days. Swinton may also have posed as thirteen-year-old Dana Anderson, who was being sexually abused by her pastor and raped by her father. There is no evidence that Sarah, Jennifer, or Dana exist. Swinton remains a "person of interest" in the case, but has not been charged in connection to the raid. "

You really are a piece of work.

Everyone - even a child molestor - has rights to due process DUH...although legislating from the bench seems to have caught on lately bypassing the ability of prosecutors to hold criminals responsible in a court of law

Arrest. Convict. Imprison. Execute where warranted.

But no - when it comes to children’s rights and safety we raise our hands in dismay and allow the sperm donors to continue abusing them.

And the stepford wives free rein to perpetuate it.

Do you view the defense attorneys as supporters of Crimes that the defendant is accused of?

Yes. Lawyers are scum.

Wow, I suppose they aren't entitled to any rights either. I think I will just let your comment stand, it is ludicrous enough that no commentary is necessary.

What do they do for money? Pray for it?

I think that they own a power plant.

The Constitution means nothing to you?

They gave up those rights when they started marrying off little girls to drooling holy-joe perverts.

Are there any cultists that should have rights?

It was more that that. It also was the truth. I've seen enough over the past two days to realize what's going on: It's the same type of mindless hysteria generated back in 1692 that resulted in innocent people being lynched by the power of the State. It is precisely what the Rule of Law is designed to prevent. And it is scary to see it in full flower right here on Free Republic. I'm aghast.

I'm blessed. Thank you so much.

I think that they own a power plant.

Just magically own it, huh? So they get to live for free forever and ever?

Are there any cultists that should have rights?

Not really. Which one are you a member of?

It is a real eye opening and a learning lesson I think. I personally think some of these folks are all juiced up about the allegations and it turns them on. They are literally hoping and praying that all the allegations are true so they can read more about perversion. I can’t define it in any other way than perverted. They will throw the constitution in the garbage for their titillations without hesitation.

FC:Yikes, yikes, yikes. So now I am Hitler as well. Who has advocated denying the FLDS ANY Constitutional rights?

LeGrande: You started the Hitler comparison, I just finished it.

As you admitted in an earlier post, you are very good at spinning, in fact that’s all you do. Here is what was actually said by me:

[LeGrande is making an extremely tenuous legalistic argument that Joe Smith was a serial adulterer, just not a polygamist. Given that Smith gave sermons and was the rootsource of the polygamy doctrine as well as a philanderer, this would be similar in form to arguing Hitler was not a mas murderer because no one ever saw him gassing a Jew.]

So, someone with a 6th grade education would understand the FORM COMPARISON Smith Was Not a Polygamist though he Authored Polygamy IS SIMILAR TO SAYING Hitler Was Not A Mas Murderer though he Authored The Mass Extermination. A was not B as C was not D - nothing to do with Hitler.

So, my statement really has little to do with Hitler and is directed towards the spin in your thought patterns. Of course, ye of little insight naturally escalated it to calling me equivalent to Hitler. Of course this again shows you to be 1) emotion driven, 2) vindictive and 3) lacking in basic skills of logical analysis.

[You have repeatedly stated that LEO’s should arrest people before they commit a crime,]

Only a person with zero moral fiber (perhaps an atheist) would ignore a pending crime that was about to do harm to another human being. Normal people, and the police, act first and take the consequences if they are mistaken. I have yet to see a policeman sued for stopping and cuffing an angry male walking down the street with a baseball bat.

“and you have excoriated me for saying that you are wrong. You clearly advocate unconstitutional measures that are identical to those used by the Nazi’s.”

The Rule of Thumb of debate is when one compare the other person to Hitler, they lose. Now we all know your response (but FastCoyote mentioned Hitler! !), but we all well know that you were not being compared to Hitler except as a device to demonstrate a logical form you used. I could have used Stalin, I could have used any of a number of other examples. Not you LeGrande, you call me Hitlerian because you have no rational responses beyond inuendo and smearing.

[You have the audacity to claim that you don’t vilify the FLDS? Hmm, that is so over the top that maybe I need to check and see if all of your posts haven’t been deleted. ]

Yes, I requested an example of me “vilifying” the FLDS and you provided doodly squat, bupkiss, nada because you are all hot air. Your point was that I villify the FLDS so I can impose a Hitlerian solution. Yet no proof.

Such baseless innuendo makes you nothing but a slanderous thug. Keep it up, each cycle shows your true colors more and more clearly.

That is worthy of repeating. It terrifies me.

I now know why Jews, Blacks, etc. aren't Republicans and why we have McCain as our Nominee. We have a bunch of religious bigots who can scare anyone off.

Sure. Any cult that does not advocate breaking laws in their pursuit of “religion”, such as child marriage - rape - and pederasty, bride burning, polygamy, and doing drugs...you know basic stuff there...stuff that is against the law.

How’s that for starters...

Your post says nothing meaningful because it is senseless.

The rule of law? Societies with the most lavish set of laws are often the very ones who are the cruelest and most bizarre...Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, Saudi Arabia.

Not at all. Just making sure you all have everything you need for the witch burning. I'll donate the gasoline. And that's saying something with it at 4 bucks a gallon.

elenia - There are no “fundamental rights” for pederasts and poygamists or wife burners in this country. Whatever their religion might allow.

elenia - Everyone - even a child molestor - has rights to due process DUH...although legislating from the bench seems to have caught on lately bypassing the ability of prosecutors to hold criminals responsible in a court of law

elenia - But no - when it comes to children’s rights and safety we raise our hands in dismay and allow the sperm donors to continue abusing them.

No constitutional rights, constitutional rights, its for the children, are you really this confused?
