That’s right. I’ve never seen anything like the way President Bush has been criticized, condemned, beaten down by not only the media but by people right here. I thank God for him. I don’t agree with everything he does, but I’m glad he’s in the WH and not Algore or any other liberal.
Me too, Mary. I have watched some “Freepers” complain about Bush as much as the Dems do, and I shake my head in puzzlement.
I am as conservative as they come, and would love it it Bush governed as a true conservative, in all ways. That said, in spite of his “aberrations” from the true conservative philosophy, he has done a decent job, with the wind in his face.
I admire his efforts to keep our defenses strong, and I am old enough to know how unpredictable war can be. He has done his best. I am not in favor of letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.

It’s not that he’s so good. It’s that so many people are so darned stupid. Or, to quote Barnum, “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
He’s been in a spiritual warfare ever since he ran for the presidency. I believe God chose Him to be our president because he is a Christian and has Godly character. And I believe that God withheld judgement on America because of it. But there are no guarantees about the next choice. S/He will also be in a spiritual battle because satan wants the destruction of America and Americans, but that’s why we need to pray for whoever gets the job. Perhaps if we had prayed more for Clinton, things could have turned out differently. Who knows. I intend to pray more for the next one.

Didn't Hillary make the assassination comment twice before and only on the third time did the media jump on her? I listened to the tape of her comment. There was no need to mention assassination, and other things about her statement were also misleading.

That's because as long as we can keep Mrs. Clinton in the race, she will be doing our FReeps for us.
The 'RAT fix is in for Obamamessiah and the media is in the tank for him.
I view Obama as a God-send, as none other than a "messiah-figure" could possibly have had a shot in hell of prying so many of the Clinton's supporters right out from under them.
As it stands now, if Obama gets the nomination, those who are supporting her will say they've been disenfranchized and will not vote for him in the general. (They will either sit home or vote McCainiac in protest).
If she steals the nomination from him (and it CAN happen), those who are supporting him will say they've been disenfranchized and refuse to vote for her in the general. (They will riot at the convention in August - if not before, there will be the cat-fight of the century between Michelle and Hillary, and they'll vote Nader, Barr or McCainiac in protest during the general just to make SURE she loses.)
Regardless of which of the two gets the nomination, OUR SIDE WINS - in spite of the media choosing our candidate for us because they thought he'd be the easiest one to beat.
One other thing to remember - if Mrs. Clinton steals the nomination after her operatives on the Rules Committee decide to allow the votes in Michigan and Florida to be counted, you will see the 'RATS in high places who double-crossed the Clintons (like Richardson, et.al.), pulling out all the stops to keep her OUT of the White House. They KNOW what will happen to them if she gets anywhere near there.
