Wow, after staying for twenty years this must have been a difficult decision. Now where can he go to hear sermons about bashing whitey and how the US is so awful....Oh, at least he probably has tapes to remember those great sermons...Don't cry Obama, it will be tough but once you get in the White House (will you change the name?) you can bash the white man and the country all you want.

You'd think they would have found someone to fall on their sword to give him a more noble way out - maybe that's what this Pfleger thing was an attempt at? If so, it fell well short.

I always felt that Obama would have been smart to have "instigated" an incident a year ago (or more) using someone like Pfleger. This would have all been old hat and a moot point ("He left the church a year ago over comments...") that the LMSM would have played defense for Obama in every way possible and actually have some credibility. Now Obama and the syncophant media are going to have a hard time explaining how Obama didn't throw Wright, Pfleger, Meeks and the ENTIRE congregation under the bus and not admit that his resignation comes across as convoluted and, considering his "Race" speech, disingenious.

I was wondering if I was the only one who thought Obama screwed up royally by doing this. He’s basically admitting that he KNOWS the church itself has a problem. Yet, as you say, we’re supposed to believe that it took him 20 years to figure it out.

Either he’s an idiot who just now realized it or he’s quitting merely to save his political skin. In either case, it paints Obama in an awfully dim light.

Granted, I could defend him and say that he was in a no-win situation with these clowns, but he’s the one who put himself in that no-win situation to begin with.

He screwed the whole situation up big-time. Too little, too late, and he deserves no free pass.

Hey Obie! It’s a start. Next, you need to dump that wife with a chip on her shoulder. After that, head over to Quantico, Virginia and complete the Platoon Leaders Course, followed by a tour of duty in Afghanistan or Iraq. When those tasks are completed, you might be acceptable in my sight.
