Are they stealing it from Youtube?

Either that or they are compressing their own tape archives and “dumbing down” the video (A) to save space (B) to denigrate it so that others won’t steal it (C) to distinguish it from a present day clip and/or (D) because it is quicker to search and air video from the “digital” vault than to pull out the tapes (see A).
