It’s time to get the dogs to the basement. Pray for those boys and their families.

Good idea. You don't want to have to be trying to round them up at the last minute.

The weather guy on Fox News said at least 30 (unconfirmed) tornadoes just from this one front. So far.

And at the same time I'm watching a story on the local news where a family who was in the Hugo (Minnesota) tornado is dealing with an insurance co. who doesn't want to pay up. :(

On the live streaming link I posted- a scout’s father said his son has called him (head and leg injuries) and said they were all in shelter when the storm hit- approx 140 people total there...

Lord, forgive me for bellyaching about the half foot of water in my basement last Saturday.
This is life & death serious.
We lived in Council Bluffs back in the late 1970’s into the mid 1980’s. Our son was in Cub Scouts there. I think we visited this camp. Prayers lifted up!

Action 3 just carried a live interview with a Dad who had been able to speak with his injured son by phone. According to him, there were about 140 people present, and all assembled in the main hall (a dining hall, I presume) when the tornado warning came in. The tornado tore the building up. Four dead is a confirmed number, and the injury count (still an estimate) is now at 50.

I had heard earlier that these storms were kind of “staying put” over the area. That the squall line is moving very slowly, but the individual storm cells within it are moving at about 40mph to the NE.

Does anyone with experience in watching these things know if it’s going to make it’s way further and possibly into Wisconsin tonight?

Doesn’t look good. Chasers saying it is rain wrapped and those are usually the most powerful tornados.
