She may have remarried, but her first husband died on my birthday a number of years ago, which I always felt strange about.
Many years ago, Darlene was going off on an opponent on her favorite issue. I told her to just let them be themselves and keep on posting their posts as they do. I said, “The venom of your enemy will make you more friends than you can imagine, because others don’t want to be like them.” She agreed.
She’s a warrior. As long as we remember her, she’ll always be with us. Fighting the good fight.
