Another source said cops are unlikely to file charges for the break-in. I am glad he's getting a pass on this one. Throw the book at him for the next one.

Thief: "anti- what? what the heck are those?"
Cop: "you mean you didn't check???"
Thief: "check for what?"
Cop: "a wire running form the bomb, attached to the door or the ignition switch. You know ..."
Thief: "OMG, OMG, OMG." [starts rocking back and forth, shivering]
Cop: "You are one lucky SOB."
