Here's an example of what passes for propaganda and smear tactics. Someone posts the ridiculous even pornographic photos of a gay-pride parade. Numerous posters come along to titter and sneer and paint all homosexuals the same as those who were in the photos. Anyone who even knows more than one homosexual knows that's a gross exaggeration and a propaganda technique.

My post 91 - Nearly every article posted on FR about public sex has been about homosexuals (and often it's group sex). This includes oral and rectal sex in public restrooms, truck stops, public beaches and parks.

If you are questioning FR's honesty you can always post at DU or KOS. Waving the "intolerance" flag doesn't work well here.

Has it escaped your attention that THIS article is supportive of homosexuals? When it was posted, FReeper markomalley put "MEGA-BARF ALERT" in parenthesis, but the agenda of the article was UNCHANGED. Free Republic does not allow articles from certain sources (this generally has more to do with the sources request than it does with FR) and some articles are pulled because Jim Robinson or the moderators do not feel that they are appropriate, but I am unaware of any general prohibition that you describe.

I would challenge you to find an article from the mainstream media about homosexuality that is not positive. The FACT is that the media has been pushing the homosexual agenda for decades and this is done in spite of the fact that it is an inherently depraved and dangerous lifestyle.

You are fairly new here and you say that your husband was banned, are you sure that you aren't on here pushing some leftist agenda?

Actually, your comment is the propaganda technique. You are attempting to normalize the abnormal.

Anyone who has even briefly looked at the subject knows that gays are notoriously promiscuous.

Promiscuity is the factor that leads to health problems and monetary costs cited below.

Prior to the AIDS epidemic, a 1978 study found that 75 percent of white, gay males claimed to have had more than 100 lifetime male sex partners: 15 percent claimed 100-249 sex partners; 17 percent claimed 250-499; 15 percent claimed 500- 999; and 28 percent claimed more than 1,000 lifetime male sex partners. Levels of promiscuity subsequently declined, but some observers are concerned that promiscuity is again approaching the levels of the 1970s.
In more recent years, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control has reported an upswing in promiscuity, at least among young homosexual men in San Francisco. From 1994 to 1997, the percentage of homosexual men reporting multiple partners and unprotected anal sex rose from 23.6 percent to 33.3 percent, with the largest increase among men under 25.⁷ AIDS no longer seems to deter individuals from engaging in promiscuous gay sex.

Can you give us some examples of homosexual celebrations that DON'T include nudity and the most vile perversions of every kind? Find me some kind of gay event where the men are in shirts and ties (or even dockers and polo shirts) and where they gather together for discussions or expressions of their "rights."

You can't because no such events exists. Do you know why? Because the ONLY thing their so-called culture is about is the behavior. It's about the perversion and the "shock" factor and the endless search for gratification in the most extreme ways. There are no "normal" gay pride events because they aren't normal.

And no, I don't hate them. My heart breaks for these people who became confused and descended into an emotionally destructive spiral at an early age. It is one of the great tragedies of our day that these people aren't able to get the help they need. Anyone who even offers to provide mental health services or counseling is treated as some kind of criminal. These people suffer from so much pain when it doesn't have to be that way. It is all so very sad.
