Could be. I thought he said something about lungs. Colon cancer metastisizes mostly to the liver and lungs. Although the chemo is basically toxic too. (I hate it) But if the cancer spread to his lungs that could have been the problem. But they have very good palative care, to ease the pain. And sometimes its better to go quickly.

I was laughing to myself today remembering how nervous I was taking that on given my unreliable computer and my limited skills and how Foxy and dinasour stood by as backups...although Foxy would have had a heart attack if I had called him and said you’ve got to do this today. LOL.

Tony made us friends, for which I am forever grateful.

Oh..yes, you made a very good point. When I think of the times that he talked about his Mother having died of colon cancer when he was 7, you could hear the pain in his voice that she was taken when he was so young.

I am sure that the most painful part of this for him, was the thought that he might do the same to his children, die when they are young.

Unfortunately, his children are still rather young, but I bet he spent a lot of time preparing them, and just being with them.

I ache for Jill as well, to lose such a wonderful man, so young.

Most of the DUmmies were respectful in genuinely expressing condolences to Tony's family and many even paid tribute to the hard job that he did but the few despicable, disgusting a-holes that trashed Tony's life got me steamed...I reconciled my anger by remembering Tony's Christian character and by the fact that they are truly the maladjusted types that remind you of the antisocial whimp in high school that couldn't get along with anyone much less get a date to the prom: You know, a cross between the nerdiest kid you ever knew and John Hinkley but with a palpable lack of guts to do anything more than write anonymous hate.

This morning they kept showing the video of him leaving the White House to great applause and he got into his car. I thought, “Hey, that’s the Lexus hybrid he told us he bought!” LOL
