McCain shouldn’t be too upset by something being tasteless and offensive. A lot of people feel he his is both, but they’re voting for him in the hold the nose and pull the lever mode.

So the liberal New Yorker tries to help BO but it backfires?
Now that’s funny.

I’m sure the people at the New Yorker are all big Obama suppporters - but still, they hit it right on the head.

Don’t be ridiculous. I can’t see Michele with an AK-47. She’s more a molotov cocktail kind of gal.

What’s unsaid is that the scene on the cover is in The Oval.

Wow, Obama acted quickly on this one. Oddly enough, it took him 20 years to respond to Uncle Jeremiah.

Did the New Yorker include the pictures of Obamas Texas Staff with their delightful posters of Che in their office?

On the cover of the July 21, 2008, issue of the The New Yorker, in The Politics of Fear, artist Barry Blitt satirizes the use of scare tactics and misinformation in the Presidential election to derail Barack Obamas campaign.Reminds me of a normally level-headed person whom I know who said "all the Republicans know how to do anymore is to use scare tactics to get people to vote for them." I immediately responded, "oh, the Republicans want to take away your Social Security. Oh, the Republicans want to take aware your Medicare. Oh, the Republicans want to take away your Food Stamps." He conceded my point.
