Gun owners will have to pass vision and written tests, provide a photo with their application to register a gun, and submit their weapon for ballistics testing. Guns will also still require trigger locks.

And all the gangsters and thugs....just beat a hot foot to take the tests.

The SocialistMarxistLiberalDemocrats are insane.......

I agree Charles. I know you are highly literate in matters of the law, and it just seems to me that if someone can be required to take a written test to own a gun, then a written test can be required before someone exercises freedom of speech, or before they invoke their right to remain silent. A written test to exercise one civil right means a written test can be required to exercise other civil rights! This is just so loony on the part of the D.C. clowns!

Mouth owners will have to pass reading, writing, speaking, and spelling tests prior to being recognized to practice their First Amendment rights in their own and only their own home.

Absolutely classic. The entire MSM would be shut down....

“Held: ... The handgun ban and the trigger-lock requirement (as applied to self-defense) violate the Second Amendment. ... Similarly, the requirement that any lawful firearm in the home be disassembled or bound by a trigger lock makes it impossible for citizens to use arms for the core lawful purpose of self-defense and is hence unconstitutional.”

I guess the DC commies didn’t read the decision.

Before you know it, a suit challenging this law on ADA grounds will be filed.

I remember a story about a blind guy who had a CCW.

The ADA is a farce.

True, but it's just so fun to pit conflicting leftist dogmas against each other.

I recall at least one story of a successful self-defense use of a gun by a blind person. Thug followed him home, figuring he was an easy mark. Figured incorrectly.

"It's not clear what that means," Helmke said. "This is the problem with getting the courts involved. These are usually issues that are determined by elected officials."

So, what your saying, Helpme, is that Al Gore flat out lost the election in 2000, Schiavo should still be alive, Terrorists scum have no rights in US Courts, Terror tapping is legal, etc.,,, (can you name the example?).

Watch the slimey hypocrites shift again to keep the boot on the neck.

That’s even worse. It’d be necrophilia.
