Please, DJ, I’ll laugh myself awake. Let’s both agree Romney made mistakes. But please the Kennedy’s captured the hearts of Massashusetts for the democrats long before Romney, Swift, Cerlucci, or Weld shown up. Yes, the GOP had a remarkable second-wind run at the governorship but that was due more to Duke screwing the state so badly. That wind has past now and the asylum is back in the inmates’ hands.
Norm, the state voted for Reagan twice. There was a viable party there, it’s not viable anymore. The Democrats didn’t make it that way, the Kennedy’s didn’t. Incompetent RINO liberal Governors did. Slick Willard only delivered the death blow.
As I said, Slick Willard is the best Democrat Governor the state ever had. They’ll not have to worry about Republicans for decades to come after he was done.
