Barack Obama may be on a world tour surrounded by a fawning media, but Sunday an expert in electronic document forensics released a detailed report on the purported birth certificate -- actually a "Certification of Live Birth" or COLB -- claimed as genuine by his campaign. The expert concludes with 100% certainty that it is a crudely forged fake: "a horribly forgery," according to the analysis published on the popular right-wing Atlas Shrugs blog....

Conversely, if his passport is good (and you can bet that it is), that pretty much seals the case in favor of Obama, no matter how bogus the other docs are. They'll just become a sideshow attraction if anything ("Oh yeah, that...").
While a passport does not equal "eligible for President", you can bet that the vetting process for the passport included enough information relevant to his birth that it's gonna be valid.
So don't be too eager for one of these countries to question his passport -- it would most likely pull the rug out from under this whole line of attack.
In fact, I wouldn't be too surprised if this trip spells the end of the BC issue, indirectly.
You don’t have to be a native-born citizen to get a US passport. If you don’t have a birth certificate but do have other proof of US citizenship (including naturalization papers) you can get a passport. By the way, I’m a passport acceptance agent for my local public library, so I guarantee that this is true.
Only if it's done Swift Boat style. The media, including FNC, have too much to gain ratings wise to destroy Obama. The media want a fight to the finish between McCain and Obama.
I just email O’Reilly and provided links and challenged him to report on it. I accused him of knowingly ignoring a blatant forgery and asked if he’s in Obama’s pocket, though I should have made a Lewinsky reference for a more realistic comparison.
The purported Certification of Live Birth published by the Daily Kos left wing blog and claimed as genuine by the Obama campaign features a security border that differs dramatically from security borders on COLB documents before and after the one supposedly printed out for Obama in 2007.
Oh, I know that's true. That's why I said having a passport is not proof of eligibility (same statement, converse).
However, I am fairly sure that these days, people getting US passports go through a process that would have turned up any misinformation. The issue of Obama's BC is certainly well enough known that anyone in passport acceptance would have been very careful to verify that "his papers were in order".
As a passport acceptance agent, I'm sure you or any of your associates would have been especially careful to spot anything awry. If for example Obama used naturalization papers for his passport, it would be all over the place.
No doubt the msm will never challenge him for an authentic birth certificate. It would seem this would occur by default given the severity of the office being sought.
His passport can be valid even if it was secured by the use of fraudulent documents. The crime would be his use of fake documents. However in his case there is the question of natural born citizenship.
If he was born in Kenya, out of wedlock, he has a shot at the citizenship at birth argument in support of his eligibility to be President under Article II, Sec. 1, Par. 4 of the constitution--citizenship under 8 USC Sec. 1409(c).
There is a reasonably clear record that his parents were married--mother Stanley Ann divorced the father with statement under oath as to the marriage. My own view is that it is likely that they were married in Kenya on February 2, 1961.
Assuming they were married and further assuming that he was born in Kenya, he is neither a citizen nor eligible to be President.
I can't believe BO still hasn't addressed this issue yet.

IMHO, she got something planned. She clawed too long and too hard to be POTUS to let an empty suit stand in her way.

Wow. Saw the Atlas post on this earlier. Maybe the story will get some legs. Going to be hard for Fox at least to ignore it now.
BTW, I was very skeptical of the whole forgery charge. That’s changed as of today. The forensic evidence conclusively shows its not just a forgery, but as the article says, a “horrible forgery.”
David, how could the parents be legally married, when Sr. was already married to another woman?

Yes, at the dimRAT convention when Billary pull their rabbit out of a hat and precipitate a DNC Rules and a US Constitutional Crisis...Obma has no proof he is a natural born citizen, therefore he cannot legally be a candidate..Citizenship depends on place of birth, not on the parents nationality...
Obama will be hare today, gone tomorrow...All his campaigning now is theater stuff- to hide the truth...
