Americans

Posted on 07/26/2008 8:26:44 AM PDT by Shruet

Zots alone moves the wheels of history! Have you ever asked yourselves in an hour of medication which liberals find themselves in during the day, how long we have been striving for zotness? Not only the years we've been at zot. But from the moment as a child when we realized that trolls could be zotted. It has been a lifetime struggle , a never-ending zot!, I say to you! , and you will understand that it is a privilege to zot! We are moderators!! Americans I ask you, once more zot and be worthy of this historical hour! The liberals will conjure up images of our freepers and they will insult our patriots as murderers. This is our duty to zot their sorry arses into the next time zone. I say, Americans of the world, unite! We must never acquiesce!, for it is together, together that we zotvail! We must never cede control of the capacitor bank for it is together that we prevail!

This weekend was my first exploration into the world of eBay. Strange place, that. I got what I wanted, but it was more than what I really wanted to pay, but even at $30 it was a steal.

I’ve been hunting high and low for a Harley-Davidson service manual for my friend. A new one is $75. ERK!!

Ohyah!

I’ll try to stick with Amazon, where the price doesn’t change.

Thanks. They’re doing better today. At the doctor’s office, but for a prior condition. I am exhausted though, even after oversleeping 3 hours .

I wish I could oversleep three hours...
How are you feeling, now? Coming down with whatever is going around your house?

I'm okay, just very tired. But also concerned enough to kill two birds with one stone and come home. If it strikes, I'm already here. Plus, I do my best writing/composing on the back deck and I have one big and one small powerpoint due next Monday.

The others are out attending to some business, but LoM had a fresh attack while out.

But I need to go away and work on the powerpoint now.

Ohgolly.

Fatigue is my first warning that something is going on. (At least, it was before CFIDS.) If my kids suddenly became tired after doing “the usual things,” I immediately took their temps.

If it was up even a degree, I kept them home. I suspect it kept certain things within controllable boundaries. Neither of them came down with serious things, or if they did, (scarlet fever) they responded well.

All this to say that you need to take care of yourself, because it sounds like no one else is able to, at the moment. *HUGS* to all of you!

Stuck in El Paso. The Yellow Face taunts me... only 90 degrees, though. I may survive.

I’ve been trying to connect, off and on today. Couldn’t seem to find the sweet spot.

Finally got it, and it seems stable. So here I am. What’s new?

Sandy is stuck in TEK-sus, I’m not stuck anywhere, and it’s only 112 outside...not humid at all! :o])

Stay with that sweet spot...it can really deliver the vibes...

It was downright chilly in Pennsylvania today. Low sixties.

I wasn’t caught entirely unprepared, but who wants to wear long sleeves in the middle of August?

It depends: Who has a low body temp? *Face raises hand* Who craves temps in excess of 100? *Face raises hand*

Gee, Bob. I dunno. Someone in Alaska?

You wouldn't like it. It's humid and chilly.

Let's give it to Sionnsar.

Hey! I lived in Alaska the first five years of my life! On an island, yet!

Having played in the snow, suffered the Takus, and resisted bed in the summers, I suspect Alaska would seem like “home” to me, after all this time!

Thanks! Sometimes for me fatigue is just fatigue, but sometimes it is something else.

All are back now, and I'm effectively home alone again. *\:-(

*HUG* (X3)

Take it east tonight, and be good to yourself, just in case whatever has felled the family will pass you by. Or at least, be kind to you.

In the meantime, I’ll say a little prayer...

Hope so. Just booked my flights to Atlanta and Dallas a month hence. Didn't get my preferred airlines, but got ones on my frequent-flier plan. Puts me within 2 - 3k miles of earning "Platinum elite" (highest-rank.)

I have a friend visiting from Oklahoma until Sunday, so I’ll be around rarely! And it was going to be a busy week anyway.

Me, if I'm in someplace chilly. Norway can be cold in August.
