You can be a dual citizen but from what I read you can not hold the office of potus as a dual citizen.

Nothing in the constitution prohibits it.

Father Barack Obama Sr. was killed in a car wreck in 1982.

What they don't say is that his father died in a drunk driving accident. He was drunk as a skunk and had already lost both his legs in a previous drunk driving accident.

In 61 most white girls that got pregnant by black men usually left the country and went somewhere to "have the baby." Especially, when both sides of the parents were pissed, as Dunhams parents reportedly were.

So where did she go? And when did she go there and when did she come back?

You seem knowledgeable on the subject. Did you go to the link I posted? I’m curious as to your thoughts on the rest of it.

No I chose a different path. I read the Constitution of Kenya

I'll take a look at your site and let you know what I think.

a person naturalized as a U.S. citizen may not lose the citizenship of the country of birth.

How do you reconcile that with the Oath of Citizenship? I don't mean to get off the subject, but it bothers me when people assume I have dual citizenship. Sounds like an oxymoron to me! OTOH, that may explain why I cannot get the Spanish government to stop sending me ballots everytime there are elections in Spain! They don't believe that I gave up that citizenship either.

My wife recently took the oath of citizenship after living here 33 years with a
Green Card. The Homeland Security official who administered the oath said “If there is any part of the oath you object to, then just don’t say that part of the oath.”

I was a bit dismayed as to the way citizenship was treated as sort of take it or leave it. Like choosing the laws you will obey and disregard the rest.

I googled up "Who can be president of the U.S.--The unresolved enigma" by Charles Gordon who is a General Counsel of the U.S. immigration and Nat. Service(sounds pretty high up and impressive) and he states that "only Natural born citizens are qualified for the highest office."

Without a legitimate birth certificate how is boma qualified as natural born?

I know, I know, I know,believe me I have been looking!
All I can come up with is a video from her high school girl friend in Wash. State that raises still more questions.

I’m glad they didn’t tell me that... I might just walked out of the court room! Then, I shouldn’t be surprised. I studied for months for the citizenship test, but about the 3rd or 4th question was “why do you want to become a citizen?” Well, it was 2000 so I said I wanted to vote in the Presidential elections. The immigration officer said that I couldn’t vote for at least a year and I told him that he was wrong, that the 14th amendment gave me the same rights that a born citizen, except for running for president. He looked it up, signed my paper and said there was no reason to ask me any more questions!

A vote for McCain is a vote against Obama

It took me a while, but I tend to agree.

Holds Kenyan since 1963

That has to be really lovey-dovey or either really heavy.

Sentence structure trips people up every time!

If the goods on BO come out now, it will give him time to recover before the convention and his voters will forget about it because his handlers will make up all kinds of lies to cover the truth. The later it all comes out the better. The Clinton’s are just playing nice, but have no intention of helping him win. You can bet on that.

From what I read all this link establishes is that a US citizen can be a dual citizen. It says nothing about eligibility to be potus under dual citizenship. I don't think dual citizens are allowed to be potus..

You would have to prove that a) he was born outside the U.S. and b) that his mother isn't his mother to demonstrate that he isn't qualified.

“According to a post I saw yesterday, the Kenyan constitution clearly states that a foreign national obtaining Kenyan citizenship must renounce that foreign citizenship in order to be a Kenyan citizen.”

That is Kenyan law and not U.S. law.

Please read and educate yourself.

Never the less, stick a fork in Obama, he is done.

Wouldn't Kenyan law apply to the question of Kenyan citizenship?

I agree with you, but why didn’t the Clinton’s do this early so that she would win the nomination?
