Where the hell did you get that nonsense?
Here is my question posted some time back:
"Seriously, I have never understood this particular aspect of theology: how does someone's death liberate you---2000 years later---from sin? "How," means the mechanism or process by which this occurs."
If any of you wise guys have a legitimate answer, please come forth.
Silly peons, Christians have no rights.
Only minorities freaks and nonChristians have rights.
Let me get this straight.
You can drive/walk down the middle of the street on a float engaging in oral sex, be completely nude with nipple clamps, etc during a Gay Pride parade and its protected as free speech.
However, if you merely stand with all your clothes on an quote from the Bible, you are engaged in “obscene or illegal” speech?
For any that think I am kidding about what happens in plain view of police during Gay Pride parades, take a look here (NSFW and not safe while eating) http://www.zombietime.com/folsom_sf_2007_part_1/
No, you didn't.
"no one seems to be able to come close to answering it. Can you?"
No one's as smart as you. You win.
Classy!
referring to Elmira as a “city” is a joke.
am trying to understand why these folks were stopped when they let others disrupt veterans funerals - they don’t seem to care about tranquility for their families.
You gays apparently just can’t stand Christians, but this is not the forum for bashing us.
Wow. Slander and name-calling in one sentence. Nice!
"but this is not the forum for bashing us."
So stop bashing us already.
Just like the lambs that the Jews would sacrifice to relieve sins, it came from the fact that God said so! :D
Try mere Christianity by CS Lewis
But just as the sin of one man condemned the entire human race (if I am wrong show me someone who is without sin) the atoning act of one Man who is also God saved the entire human race.
The exact mechanics of how this works? - I may or may not know when I reach Heaven. The important thing is not how it works but that it does.
CS Lewis bump.
Has anyone ever noticed that when socialism and commie conduct is out in the open the socialist sheep rush to redirect the conversation to the side issue? And, then if you try to help them stay focused on the real issue they start calling you names? Ever notice that?
Thanks for the resource.
My question was: "Seriously, I have never understood this particular aspect of theology: how does someone's death liberate you---2000 years later---from sin? "How," means the mechanism or process by which this occurs."
Freepmail me and I’ll walk you through it. For a reasonable children’s allegory watch The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.
Thank you.
You’re pretty good Healy. Not much of a speller, but a great thinker. :)
LOL. See .. there it is. You insult by suggesting that because you were asked to focus on the main issue of the thread you now have to tell me the definition of ‘how’. HOW silly.
Let me spell it out for you. The issue being discussed is “Free Speech”. You jump in and try to make the discussion about religion. You do not want people to discuss another example of where Americans are being denied their right to free speech.
Now, to be fair, we all can clearly see that the REASON they are being denied free speech is because they are of a particular religious conviction. But, in case you were unaware, freedom of speech is not a right granted to everyone except Christians. It is for everyone...haha...even you.
So...to recap...we are discussing the issue of Free Speech.
Great, now practice what you preach and let me ask my question in peace.
"Seriously, I have never understood this particular aspect of theology:
How does someone's death liberate you---2000 years later---from sin?
As reported in this post, it was this question, in the form of a statement, that led to the arrest.
