Why Biden Is a Good Choice?
Pajamas Media ^ | August 25, 2008 | Taylor Marsh

It has been clear for some time that Obama was not going to pick Hillary Clinton as his running mate.

Whatever was necessary for this type of team wasn’t present for an Obama — Clinton ticket. That was my first choice, but it wasn’t meant to be. That said, when the news emerged that Obama had picked Joe Biden, I was excited and enthused about the news...

Biden was chosen to help in Michigan, Ohio, and PA because he has -— right or wrong -— considerable blue collar appeal.

His harm or neutrality elsewhere will not matter.

THIS is why McCain MUST avoid a elitest or apparent elitist. (Yes, thinking Romney would be a serious mistake.)

I met Joe Biden within a year after his election to the US Senate.

I was a Democrat then.

My thoughts: The most arrogant man I have ever met.

My second thoughts: Mr. Biden has a great deal to be humble about.

God help the US if he and Mr. Obama are elected.

What I like most about Biden is his hair plugs. Nothing like major surgery just to make you look 5 years younger.

More wet-dreaming from a liberal columnist. Yawwwnnn.

The blog comments about the article and Obama / Biden are quite entertaining though. LOL!

Biden really is a good choice. For McCain. I think he should send Barack Hussein a thank you card. Inside he could write something like Thanks Dumb Ass.

Biden was a good choice.

He's a good debater. He's knowledgeable. He has the experience Obama lacks.

I don't think he's going to help the ticket but he won't hurt it either.

If Obama had picked Hillary, people here would have been far more worried. That would have been a tough ticket to go against.

Choosing Biden pretty much made people here go hurrah! LOL

That says a lot.

The author is a leftie who likes the choice.

Personally, I don't think Joe helps the ticket, but he's a safe, inoffensive choice.

In some ways he hurts, because his experience and stature underscores the Obamessiah's lack thereof. Frankly, in a more rational world, Biden would be the nominee and The Rookie would be the Veep pick.

Your sentiments are exactly what some people who know Biden in Delaware tell me. They say that he is vain, arrogant, and a bully. Why he keeps being re-elected is a mystery.

So what the heck does this mean?

His blunt assessments were a breath of fresh air for people like me who want to redeploy, but also know the logistics and difficulty in doing so.

Redeploy as what, an embedded reporter?

Obiden is a good choice because he is now a two time loser and going for a three time loser. The man is a real life role model. He is Obamas junk yard debate dog!!

The same reason why the majority of Massachusetts voters as well as the majority of voters throughout the remaining northeastern states keep re-electing leftist politicians at every political level: Too many voters have already drank the “Pro-Leftist Cool-Aid”. For many people all over the U.S., leftist politics is its own religious cult, and it truly also is a dangerous mental disorder.

" According to Rush, white men. Barry needs them. "
If Barry needs the support of White men to win, then ? the issue of " white guilt " is mute ?

Some amount of payback from Obama to Biden for a job well done....see these FR Threads:

BIDEN Bill Will Help Stop Fugitives in Their Tracks ( A very useful Bill for silencing ....)

And it's subsequent use in taking down an Obama critic:

Whew boy! "Joe Biden's son is the one who got Obama out of this (Sinclair) mess."
