To post an html code like I did at the beginning of this post (without having to add spaces to be removed later), use < instead of <, and > instead of >.
< img src="http://i35.tinypic.com/fuvxp4.jpg"> will print
<img src="http://i35.tinypic.com/fuvxp4.jpg">.
<blockquote> will print <blockquote> (which indents the paragraph)
</blockquote> will print </blockquote>
