not because of the dogs themselves, but because of the irresponsibe stupidity of the vast mojority of dog owners..it truly is a shame, but most dog owners should not be allowed to keep a dog..

I agree, however, there are dog breeds that are just dangerous, if you don't believe that then you are totally irresponsible yourself, no matter how careful the owner, there are dog breeds that are dangerous to people, especially children. They are animals, never forget that. I believe if a dog hurts a human there should be stiff prison terms for thier owners. However, I couldn't agree more strongly, most dog owners are VERY irresponsible. Bite me flamers ....

the sad little secret is that any dog breed is a potential threat to humans.....what people tend to forget is that they are animals, act like animals and will behave like animals...training can help, and good environment will help, but eventually every animal will unexpectedly act irrationally, and if you allow your animal to run free, it will act irrationally out of the owners sight...then the owner will say “ not my dog “.... my favorite one is when the owner says “ my dog does not bite “, i then ask the owner, “ does the dog know that? “....
