Schumer calls Palin a "Hail Mary" pick
DAYTON _ Sen. Charles Schumer is among the first out of the gates with Democratic reaction to the Sarah Palin selection.
"After the great success of the Democratic convention, the choice of Sarah Palin is surely a Hail Mary pass," Schumer said. "It is a real role of the dice and shows how John McCain, Karl Rove et al realize what a strong position the Obama-Biden team and Democrats in general are in in this election."

I disagree; the “real” Hail Mary pass was the reaction on the part of the Obama campaign, calling her inexperienced and referring to her being the former mayor of a town of 9,000 people. This points out just how stupid the Obama people are, since Palin is the ONLY candidate out of both tickets that actually HAS executive experience, and her total experience in goverment is a lot more than Obama’s, for that matter.
