Wait until they learn about her husband.

Iron Dog racers are not typical of the Washington crowd.

Todd Palin unique among nation's 5 first husbands

It just came to me while looking at the pictures posted on the links above in another post: Theodore Roosevelt (only a lot better looking).

McCain has said TR is his model. Looks like he found someone who is not entirely unlike his hero.

It was nice of Sarah to let McCain be at the top of her ticket.

“Rush was absolutely giddy today, he was so excited. Funny.”

He was. And I was giddy right along with him.

From The Anchoress’ blog:

Was exchanging emails with Deacon Greg, who is not especially interested in politics. He wrote of Palin’s speech:

I’m watching the replay on my computer on msnbc…I love that she used that “ship in a harbor” analogy … and that she said politician’s should have a “servant’s heart.” Right after I was ordained and starting my blog, a deacon wrote to me and said “Every day say this prayer, ‘Lord, give me a servant’s heart.’”

I had noticed, and appreciated, that line, too - it resonated for me in a different way; I remember being young and watching “Give ‘em Hell, Harry,” the one-man show about Harry S Truman, and really being struck by his notion of a president or any office-holder as a “servant” of the public. Most of our politicians seem to have forgotten that, these days, and recently, watching Pelosi and company tell Americans that their opinions on drilling were irrelevant, I’ve been writing that too many are uninterested in actually serving us. So, yes, I was thrilled to hear Palin say it.

But Greg, predictably, helps us to see the profundity of the role of servant, by looking at the Palin’s youngest child, wonderfully named Trig Paxson Van Palin, whose very life is suggestive that Palin (and her husband) truly has a “servant’s heart.”

Les Stroud is scared to death of moose - he said that during rutting season, they're the most dangerous animals in North America [or at least in the same league as Grizzlies & Polar Bears].

Eddie: “Check her out Wally, the new girl. Her name’s Sarah and she’s a babe. No, I mean, a robo-babe! If she were a dude, she’d be Baberaham Lincoln!”
Wally: “So what’s the catch Eddie?”
Eddie: “Her father is crazy. I don’t mean like `wild and crazy’ I mean, like nuts—he’s as crazy as a ****-house rat!”
Wally: “So what? I don’t want to date her Dad.”
Eddie: “Look, Sam: He’s sitting right next to her on the front porch on the swing.”
Wally: “Is that a ... shotgun? Gee Eddie, I really don’t need some crazy old coot giving me the business! I think I’ll go see Mary Ellen Rogers.”

(Get off my sidewalk, whippersnappers! BOOM)

This is quite the shaker.

All the Ivy League educated feminists have their shorts in a twist.

Palin is obviously a Tom Boy.

She has had 5 kids and has the figure of a model.

She shoots.

She hunts.

She is confident, strong with the common sense of the frontier.

She has some of the best executive experience , including international experience with Russia, Japan and North Korea, of any woman in the USA, indeed of any man in the USA at the Governor level.

And here she didn't eben attend Wellesley, Harvard, Yale, or any of the Ivy League fem factories.According to them, Palin should not exist! They have been bitten by a mythological beast!

But she was under the Ivy League feminist radar, since she was way up there in Alaska.

So all the Dem Fems and Obama drones can do is sputter.

The Dems have lost the election, and it will only take a day or two for them to go into insane mode and start yelling that McCain cheated by namimg Palin his running mate.

I mean this is a big time hurt for the Dems, Soros lost millions of dollars pushing Hillery out of the way for Obama, Howard Dean is now proven wrong to have pushed Hillery away for Obama. Soros and Dean have led the DNC down the wrong path, and now will be held acccountable for that.

I look forward to what Hillery will say about the McCain ticket. She must be feeling thoroughly vindicated and quite amused. I hope she has PUMA through its support behind Mccain all the more powerfully.

Palin represents what most Ivy League feminists seek to disprove. That life can not be accomlished by estrogen alone. The bucket of life requires the combination of estrogen and testosterone in order to be filled with excellence and flourish. And Palin exemplifies what happens in ones life when there is a thorough spiritual and physical union between a man and a woman.

Thus Palin represents, through no fault of her own, a horrendous insult to them. The Ivy League fems will just have to get over it, or be left behind in this wonderful world of shifting American politics.

Mccain has returned us to the American fold of genuine decency, incorruptable by the American left. And for that we need to truly give thanks.
