O'Reilly has drunk the Obama kool-aid

Posted on 08/29/2008 5:08:11 PM PDT by Joiseydude

Discussing Palin, first thing out of his mouth is that she is under investigation, The next is she has "Scant" experience. He went on to say that Obama convinced him last night that he (Obama) is OK.

If he tries to get Palin on the show, she should tell him to pound sand. And tell him why.

Na, she should go on and make him look like a fool. That's not too hard to do. He's one of the biggest most arrogant fools out there.

Which is completely true. Do you have a problem with the truth? Also, the details of the investigation against her aren't petty or insignificant by any means. Palin is being investigated for abusing her power for the benefit of her sister in her sister's custody case -- all of which is a pretty big deal to me anyway. If Palin did that as Gov. of Alaska just think what she might do as president.

Let me add that I abhor BOR and make it a practice never to watch his show. I'd never even have known he brought this truth to light if not for your post. Thank you.

O’R impressed me out of the box as basically a liberal who made a choice to make money in talk radio. He knew he couldn’t make a lot of money saying liberal things. His real proclivities peep through on occasion when he speaks before he reflects. His original stated goal was o “beat” Limbaugh, not to air an authentic conservative viewpoint.

I agree with an above comment....BO’s ego is so beaten down by olberman and the left bloggers that he’s trying to overcompensate in order to get them off his back.

O’Reiley has always been an idiot. I stopped watching him years ago.

The sad thing is that when Keith Olberman features Bill in his "Worst Person in the World" segment, it is hard to disagree.

I'll recommend the same thing I recommend to everyone else: read the details and decide for yourself:

'Troopergate' inquiry lurks

It's not as simple as some people have made it out to be, and there's more to it than a custody dispute. Clearly, the people around Sarah Palin (her husband and staff) went overboard in trying to protect her. But, the trooper in question is alleged to have made some unmistakable threats, and only got off because he didn't make them directly to the target.

She has already taken responsibility and apologized for appointing a bad replacement for the DPS commissioner (he had been reprimanded for sexual harassment). Give the investigation time to determine if she was personally involved in this, and see how she reacts. A good leader will take responsibility, clean house, and apologize.

when he was just a clueless boaster who was stylin his way into politics.

Brother Buzzama was a Community Organizer who helped people. His wife didn't take him seriously 'till the day she heard him tell the down-and-outers how things ought to be. That did it.

If I dint know better, I'd say she was just 'orny.

My '69 Camaro SS was pretty effective too, and, I didn't have to lie to anyone to get chicks diving into the backseat. "BRING BACK THE DRIVE-IN MOVIE!!"

It was “breaking news” on msnbc during Palin’s speech. The graphic said “How many houses does this add to the McCain campaign?” or something close. Amazing. It was supposed to be “news” and they’re making a snide editorial comment during “breaking news”.

Gov Palin has more experience than Sen Obama

Yep. And, executive experience at that, which Bama has NONE.

It's the main reason we elect Governors as president & not senators. Senators are purely legislative with no real executive experience.

The last senator we elected was JFK.

I don't know what sinecure means, but have you noticed how he surrounds himself with blondes? Very Bob Barker-ish.

I see Bill standing next to a Plinko machine with a mic that could serve as a probe.

He’s been begging everyone to get Obama to do the show. He was doing it during the convention in case you missed it. Why are you shocked? He’s trying to make some coin.

I read about the disputes with poor little Molly and her daddy. Let's keep in mind that Palin's sister chose the man she married and as another "responsible and equal" woman she should have dealt with her problems the way the rest of us who don't have Governor sisters do.

Of course, none of this Molly McCann business has anything to do with Palin's responsibilities as Gov. of Alaska. She should have stayed completely out of the matter and let the people normally in charge do their jobs. However, Palin did use her official position to interfere in this matter. Not only did she press for Wooten to be fired but she fired his supervisor when the supervisor refused to fire Wooten. That's a big no-no when Democrats do it so why is so okay with so many here when one of "ours" does it?

She has already taken responsibility and apologized for appointing a bad replacement for the DPS commissioner (he had been reprimanded for sexual harassment). Give the investigation time to determine if she was personally involved in this, and see how she reacts. A good leader will take responsibility, clean house, and apologize.

Yes, saying your sorry fixes it all up. Not. She has been accused of abuse of power which is no little matter. It's not going to go away so easily as you seem to believe now that she is in the national arena. Besides that, I don't want a feminist for president.

I swear you guys will turn on a good guy that’s on our side on a dime.

O'Reilly hates Free Republic and compares it with Daily KOS.

He used liberal smear tactics to declare that FR is a conservative "hate site"

All his evidence was contrived and lies that he twisted to make his point.

He pulled a Michael Jackson (paid off an accuser with proof) some years ago and it was reported and vetted here on FR and IMO that is the reason he has a grudge against this site.

Yes, he is full of himself2
