Latest McCainBlogette: On The Road With The Palin Family
http://www.mccainblogette.com/index.shtml ^ | 8/31/08 | Meghan McCain

Yesterday was another crazy day on the trail with my new favorite crew - the Palin girls. We went to an amazing rally where there were 12,000 people. John Rich and his incredible band introduced Dad by singing "Raisin' McCain" and then we were lucky enough to have them come on the road with us to Missouri. To the entire John Rich band and crew, you guys rock my world and I am so excited to have everyone traveling with us!

1. add me to the ping list...

2. My youngest sister was born with Down’s...my mother never even had her tested before birth because she knew what the docs would recommend should she be found to have Down’s and she knew that such advice would not be something she would follow...and so my baby sister was welcomed into the world...during my last year of college...

Okay, you’re really the last one for the night! I’m going to clobber anyone who’s still moving upstairs!

I’m 42, and I had babies at 35, 37, and 39. I didn’t have any testing other than basic ultrasound on any of them (and I think we didn’t even do that with one, because we moved). We weren’t going to do anything but have our babies, no matter what. Sarah Palin is the Bomb in my book, and your mother is “The Bomb - the Early Years!”

mom just turned 55...she received a very nice present from our political types...especially after I passed along the info I learned here on FR about who was to be our soon-to-be VP...:)

you sound just like my mom when I was your kids’ age...:P

Mom thought she was done having children after the one who came when she was 39...:P

Great job partner, looks like we’re going to have quite the ping list for this one.

Hats off to Meghan McCain, I don’t know if she realizes she is a PR genius.

OMG! That San Francisco craiglist board is the most vile message board I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been around. I only wish every democrat in the country could read it and see if that’s who they would like to be associated with. Quite the departure from the McCainBlogette.

The Palin’s have an attractive tall brunette daughter there. She could bring some big salmon here to fry up. It’s 60F hotter here add she might decide to cook semi-nude. And a big knife to prevent anyone from bothering her in the kitchen. She’s most likely married already. BBQ’d salmon is one way to get married.

From your Hilary link:
What would happen if Obama were to have buyer's remorse on selecting Biden and Biden were to withdraw for health reasons or some such nonsense, so that Obama could replace him with Hillary -- as a response to McCain choosing Palin? Would you guys vote for the Obama-Clinton ticket then, even knowing his true feelings about her and that he would only choose her as a last ditch effort to save his campaign? This is not unprecedented. Thomas Eagleton withdrew as the VP nominee for McGovern in '72.

I've seen some recent videos of Biden - and I can't believe what a dufas he is. And so, I think the Mac/Palin ticket easily beats Ob/Biden.

I felt a chill however, when I read the above comment. If they were to throw Biden under the bus and bring on Hillary, I think the horse race is back on...

Highly unlikely, Hill & Bill are working for 2012. If they had to dump Biden, she wouldn’t even accept, she can see he’s going down in flames. Palin was a masterstroke, ignited the base and the independents and the PUMA’s.

Obama is such an egomaniac he didnt’ even VET Hillary for the VP slot, a total slap in the face. He should have done it for appearances, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt he has a tin ear for politics. She will let him go down in flames, cackling all the way.

I would appreciate it if you would add me to your ping list. These photos are really uplifting and bring out the personalities of the families. Thanks.

Looking back at some of the previous postings, it was interesting to see the kitchen of the McCain house in Sedona. Here I was thinking it was some palatial mansion or at least something very upscale, but the kitchen looks as well used as mine! Nothing fancy, or gourmet about it.
