exactly the same scenario as Benedict Arnold, only with far less self-serving justification. He felt he’d earned eternal gratitude from the Republicans for taking on Clinton in appeachment, but when two Republican districts had to be fused after reapportionment, they picked the other guy and he was out.

She has made a lot of powerful enemies, and if there was dirt to be dug, it would already be excavated.

The truth of the matter is...she is a question all right. A question the Left does not have the answer for. If she is destroyed, she will do it herself under the bright lights with a poor performance.

But I don’t think that is going to happen. I get the impression she is smart and tough, and what she doesn’t know about presidential politics, she is going to learn on the fly. (Let us not forget: the guy running in the number one position on the other side has no experience in presidential politics either, and the number two guy on the other side has had his mouth stretched to the breaking point by the clown shoes he has repeatedly inserted during his presidential electioneering experiences.

She poses a problem to the left, and the only answer they have is to try to sling mud at her. We will see how that goes

Well, let’s hope she’s vetted and nothing comes out. You know that they are working overtime on the opposition research on her. The Dems. had their playbook all set for Mitt Romney, Pawlenty, or anybody else McCain could have chosen. They have to write their playbook on Sarah.

So far I hear they are hyperventilating that she opposes abortion even in rape and incest cases.
