Aside from Norm Coleman (1994-2002) who became a Republican in his second term, Saint Paul has not elected a Republican mayor since 1952.Why is it so left leaning up there??

I think it's 'cause they're closer to the North Pole. The earth is spinning slower up there, and the resultant loss of gravity messes with their brains. Hopefully, one day they'll all just sort of spin off into space. Then again, I went to public school....

What major city in America isn’t left leaning?
I live in Twin Cities metro and it’s a very liberal metro area, but the outstate areas are very conservative as a whole.
