Ok, call me naive, but it disappoints me to hear that she’s not writing her own speech.

Fortunately, she didn’t need coaching on how many states are in the union..

Sarah is one smart girl, she will do fine. When the smoke clears and the dems are seen as the garbage that they are by America they may be out of a job for the next 16 years. Keep up the good work obama, you are killing yourself.

We all wanted him to keep his powder dry, but not THIS dry. McCain really screwed his team on this one.

Governor Palin needs to get up and give a speech exactly like she did last Friday morning. I became inspired and fired up. Up until that speech, I was pretty depressed about November. It was so refreshing to finally see some “change” in American politics. Of course, I’ve never really been a big Greek temple kind of guy.

I just hope CBS, NBC and ABC don’t do to her speech what they did to Fred’s last night...they showed only bits of it and walked all over what they did show with talking heads. Millions will be watching the networks and if they mess with her speech many of those people will not get another chance to get to know her.

At least, Ms. Palin won’t plagarise a speech from a british politician like Biden did.

I’d hazard that not one in 30 politicians writes their won speeches or goes into the arena without coaching.

It’s just not done and these asshats at the washingScum comPost know it.

Palin alert!

Talked to some non Freeper Conservatives tonight and the general consensus is that she'll be dumped by the weekend. I hope I set them straight but please get the word out that all of the leftist smears are mostly liberal drivel.

“Since Sunday night, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has been holed up in her suite in the Hilton Minneapolis while a parade of Sen. John McCain’s top advisers have briefed her on the nuances of his policy positions, national politics and, above all, how to introduce herself to the national audience she will address Wednesday night at the Republican convention”

What a fabricated pile of BS!

She has been with McCane in the South RE the huricane all the time incliding today.

I hope they break with tradition and don’t offer the drive-bys a preview transcript of the speech so that they won’t be able to have the gang of blathering idiots ready with their instant DNC talking points.

The press would have to think for themselves for once and not parrot what their masters say. Chrissy’s head might explode on pMSNBC.

It seems logical that the Vice Presidential candidate would need to reflect the policies that will be carried forward by the President. From what I read about Palin, she represents frontier values. Some of these are likely not to be in tuned with McCain. For instance, I don’t know if the “new Teddy Roosevelt” would have challenged the listing of the Polar Bear on the endangered species list. I also get the impression that she is not a fan of regulation and comes from a local government perspective. I am delighted that she grasps what rural issues are all about, but she will probably have to tone down some of her views in order to support his.

Oh, that changes everything. If she isn't writing her own speech, after logging the poplar, pulping it and making her own paper, finding the right sea shells to extract the dye and making her own ink, shooting a snow goose for the quill and of course, smelting the iron ore for the blade to form the pen knife, then she really isn't qualified for the post of Vice President on the Republican ticket.

She is running for Veep, not for Prez. Of course she needs to sync up with McCain’s priorities and positions. You don’t think Biden went through the same thing?

I should have scrolled down and to post my comment here.

If Gov. Palin and John McCain deliver knock out speeches, I wonder how long before the democrat media will start taking about their speech writers.

They have brought this up time and time again whenever Bush has made major speeches and I suspect it will be brought up again with McCain and Palin. The objective is, of course, to show everyone that their words are not their own.

So far, I haven’t heard any such reference made about obama’s speeches.
