Wow, if that is true, he is worse off than I thought. I saw no spontaneity in his delivery. It looked like he was reading every line. You would think he would know it if he wrote it.

I’ve gone from being quite apathetic and disappointed in the GOP to being absolutely invigorated and will be doing all I can to help.

I’d rather suffer through four years of Obama and vote for Gov. Palin when she leads the GOP ticket in 2012 than give my endorsement to a man who won’t fight an invasion.

Problem is, if McCain goes down in November, Palin goes with him. 2012 will be lost as well.

So, looking at the long term and realizing that Palin is the future of the GOP, don't you think it is wise to just go ahead and cast your vote for McCain (really for Palin), and help get them elected, just so that she will be waiting in the wings in either 2012 or 2016? You gotta think strategically here.

The long and short of it is that she kicked Obama's ass, last night, and she is a conservative rock star and she has reignited the conservative movement, and charged up the base of the party like a nuclear reactor hooked to a car battery.

The Dem's are scared witless by this woman. MSNBC looked like a funeral was taking place, last night, when the speech was over. They all knew that this woman kicked the living sh!t out of them. She is not going to be taken down, nor is she going to break down, cry and run back home Alaska. She's tough as nails and will stand up to all their sh!t, and that's what scares them more than anything. They thought they could "jump on her fast, and destroy her quick", as Peggy Noonan put it.

Last night showed that they couldn't and didn't do that, and as a result, today she looks like a giant killer - she whipped them all, last night, and the entire Democrat Party, and the entire MSM establishment, got totally and universally PWNED, as the kids say.

Its about the future of the country, Conservativism, and the Republican Party.

On numerous levels.

This relatively young woman shows other budding young conservatives that yes, they can buck the system, speak their mind, not be ashamed or hide their conservative views from general public, and be well received, because America IS basically conservative. The leftists control the media outlets (mostly) both here and abroad, therefore the "feeling" is that the world hates us, and the US hate Bush, republicans, and conservatives.

However, when you scratch below the surface, it is all hopes and dreams on their side, not reality. Note the approval of the congress.

Getting Mccain/Palin over the top wil go a long way to temper the grasp the media and leftists have on US politics.

Right now, the middle is where the votes are, so that is where they need to be mined. I would love to see the day when the middle is moved, say one standard deviation, to the right. This may just be the time.

Actually, I saw more black men and women at the convention than I expected to see. I was pleasantly surprised. And I was watching C-Span.

I noticed the same thing too. I was sometimes flipping over to MSNBC just to see if anyone had had blown a gasket yet, and got a chuckle when they were showing crowd scenes, focusing on a person for like 5 seconds or so before moving to the next person. They put up a black lady, but she didn't stay up but for a second at best. You just know some camera guy was hearing in your earpiece "what the f*** are you doing putting anyone but old white men in suits on camera????"

CSPAN did a good job of showing a cross section of actual attendees IMO.

I will never vote for Juan McAmnesty. If he renounces his stance on illegal immigration, I will reconsider my position; otherwise, he will never receive my vote. I’d rather suffer through four years of Obama and vote for Gov. Palin when she leads the GOP ticket in 2012 than give my endorsement to a man who won’t fight an invasion.

Here's the 1992 version:

I will never vote for George McTaxIncrease. If he renounces his stance on guns and taxes, I will reconsider my position; otherwise, he will never receive my vote. I’d rather suffer through four years of Clinton and vote for someone conservative when they lead the GOP ticket in 1996 than give my endorsement to a man who is just a tax-raising, gun-hating Rockefeller Republican. [The term "RINO" didn't exist in '92].

That worked SOOOO well in 1992, didn't it? Oh, and we're still living with it - Clinton appointed Ginsburg and Breyer, as well as hundreds of federal judges still on the bench.

I made my mistake in 1992; I won't repeat it, and I hope that you will learn from it. The lesson: vote your heart and hopes in the primaries, and vote for the least bad candidate in the General.

Thanks geo. Heh... the teleprompter malfunction was a great big kick in the naughty bits (delivered by Jesse Jackson) to the dolts, hypocrites, and liars who claim she's not *more* ready than Obama. :'D To rip off a partisan media shill who shall remain nameless, "bravo for life's little ironies".
she said the difference between a pit bull and a hockey mom is "lipstick." It wasn't just a cute line. She immediately began to prove it, starting with her killer line that being mayor of a small town is just like being a community organizer - except you have actual responsibilities.
The sock puppet Obama better call Mayor Daley's office or Bill Ayers to see how to respond.

If McCain does not win, Palin will not be setup for 2012.

That was a well written article, punchy and deliberate. Thanks for posting it.

.

.

Here’s how I’ve been bumping Palin/Obama threads.

Sung to the tune of “Oh! Susanna, don’t you cry for me.”

“Oh, no Bama, please don’t lie to me... for I’m off to Free Republic with a laptop on my knee.”

I come from Minnesota with my laptop on my knee;
I’m goin’ to Free Republic my true love for to see.
It rained all night the day I left,
the weather it was dry;
The sun so hot I froze to death,
Obama don’t you lie.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me;
I come from Minnesota,
with my laptop on my knee.

I had a dream the other night,
When everything was still;
I thought I saw Obama dear,
A-coming for The Hill.
The smearing lie was in Duluth,
The tear was in his eye,
Said I, I’m coming for the truth
Obama don’t you lie.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me;
I’m off to Free Republic,
with my laptop on my knee.

I fight in my pajamas,
It’s plain for all to see.
I aim to be the next Buckhead;
The media all hate me.
I fell in love with Sarah
When my sister bit a moose.
The Guvnor’s family ate it up
And then they set it loose.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me;
I’m off to Free Republic,
with my laptop on my knee.

She loves her sons, she likes her guns,
and Trigonometry.
The media will jump the shark
When Juan makes history.
Well, JimRob knows she’ll pave the trolls
So controversially,
And Berg will knock Obama down
With friends of Hillary.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me;
I’m off to Free Republic with a laptop on my knee.

I soon will be in Hawaii,
And then I’ll look all ‘round,
And when I find his birth record,
I’ll fall upon the ground.
But if I do not find it,
This Freeper’ll surely die,
And when I’m dead and buried,
Obama don’t you lie.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you cry for me;
I’m off to Free Republic with a laptop on my knee

I wasn't looking at who was black or white, but it seems the black women on The View was..I know that the people with the education be it black or white were at the convention..No one had to be paid to sit there.This woman was great and I really am praying she is our next VP..or president one day..That is when I would vote for a woman if Sarah Palin ran for the office..She is the only women I have seen and heard that has the same views as myself..

Sarah was so good, I bet Obama and Biden were watching and nodding and agreeing with everything she said, until it hit them, “oh crap, she’s talking about me!”

I'm in the same boat. I am now officially wildly extatic about the ticket; before, I felt about like I felt about the Bob Dole ticket in years past.

The girl is a pitbull that will keep McCain on track...if not changing his mind on issues that matter to me, then at least being a Jimminy Cricket reminder, not a "yes-woman". And, God Forbid, he dies in term, I'd be more than happy to see her in the saddle.

“If there is anyone here at Free Republic that isn’t fully supporting McCain/Palin after last night....I just don’t understand you.”

I'm SOLD, I haven't been this excited since Ronald Reagan accepted the nomination.
