Speaking of which, who ever did their thinking “inside the box?” Was thinking “inside the box” ever such an accepted concept that the idea of thinking “outside the box” had to be invented?

“I get the overused phrase thing. I mean, I totally get it.”

Other trite block phrases that I hear from Sales Pukes:

“My ask of you”
“reach out”
“leverage”
“At the end of the day”
“It is what it is”
“Have visibility into...”
“I’m out-of-pocket”
“I wanted to connect with you...”
“Do you have the bandwidth to...?”
“Close the loop”
“Circle back and close the loop”
“Unfortunately...”

FTA: “I stopped counting when Badnick had utilized the word 35 times in 15 minutes.”

Utilized is my nominee

Among Calif. teenage girls, the most overused word is “like”.

I dislike overused phrases and cliche’s in any way, shape or form...

(Not to mention punctuation errors and “smiley” abuse ;)

Not sure about the most overused, but IMHO two of the most overrated words are:

Professional: This means they get paid to do something, even if they screw it up.

Expert: I do not believe twenty something year old “experts”. It takes a lifetime of mistakes to make someone an expert. And, a large ego to think that they know everything.

Lately, it has been “the 1000# elephant in the room”. I also am tired of the “gerunding” of America. Too much parenting going on for my taste.

I had a paradigms, but I dropped one.

Now I only got ten cents...

That being said, whenever I hear someone say that being said I wonder why did they have to say that being said.
