Sarah Palin will be missing from action Sunday a.m.

Today, top McCain aide Rick Davis indicated the campaign isn't in any hurry to slot Palin for a Sunday show appearance -- and will do so only if he and other strategists determine it serves the ticket's purposes, not because some may view it as a required initiation for a major political player.

Appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" show, Davis said, "I'd never commit to anything in the future. ... Our strategy is in our hands, not the media's. We're going to do what's in our best interests to try to win the election. If we think going on TV news shows are [sic] in our best interests, we'll do it. If we don't, we won't."

I don’t think I’m clueless. He’s running for President and the only name in the news is Gov. Palin. McCain has a big ego, and it’s being over running by his VP.

But this is great. No one is trashing McCain, our next POTUS. He is acting presidential, Sarah is bringing in the crowds to hear our next POTUS, Biden has disappeared and Obama? Well he is running against our lipstick.

Please God let this continue.

I can see it now... CNN: “Good Morning Gov. Palin”.…..Gov. Palin: “Good Morning”.

CNN: “Well there you have it. Gov. Palin is against evenings and people who have anything to do in the evenings. By showing her preference for mornings she has clearly show she is not ready for the Oval office.”

Someone mentioned that Biden did not appear on the weekend after the Dems convention

Yeah, but in that case it was because he was undergoing electroshock therapy.

That’s what I was thinking. I hope she finds a good church in the DC area.

My prediction is to throw Katie Couric a bone, and do the first interview with her.

Gee...The McCain campaign is not going to allow the MSM to manipulate Sarah’s answers into 10 second sound bites taken out of context? Shame on them.

So what does one make of John McCains frequent appearances on the Sunday morning talk Shows?

That McCain doesn't place a high priority on church attendance. A shame, really.

If she were any other pol, I’d agree. Since she is so well liked as an unknown outsider, the McCain people could shut the msm out, and use their mistreatment of Palin as the reason. They could have her talk to the people directly at rallies or w/ friendly talk show hosts, and knock the msm out of their role as kingmaker. They could reset the playing field.

A collateral bonus would be the msm talking amongst themselves about the Palin position, bellyaching and whining, would take away air time they could have spent talking about their beloved Obama. The msm is so full of themselves, I could see them making the Palin snub an issue larger than the debatable issues between Mac and o.

It won’t happen, but I’d like to see it. I think it would work in this one instance.

“Sarah Palin is a STAR.”

I truly have a problem with this. I don’t see how it’s any different than the Demo worship of Obama.

I just don’t see how that will work, and in fact don’t agree with it. You want to be the VP and possibly the president, you’ve got to face whatever. Should the potential president of the U.S. remain completely insulated from the bad guys? Of course not. Awful, awful idea. If she’s got the “balls,” show it.

No offense, but you're even clueless about your cluelessness.

It's like the difference between being a fan of Paris Hilton and being a fan of Jennifer Connelly. Both are stars, both claim to be actresses, only one actually can act.

Palin has substance, Obama doesn't.
