Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.

"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."

"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."

"We've had enough of the same old thing."

The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."

Because, as a woman myself, I find the lipstick-pig-fishy smell trully offensive. Don’t the men understand that?It was a very NUANCED attack.

Mike Suckabee is on Hannity & Colmes right now saying we should cut Obama some slack, that it wasn’t a reference to Palin.

Huckabee is done - THANK GOD! He got a payoff - a gig on Fox. But make no mistake, he has no future in national politics. This is just another example. Just like the attack ad he claimed he would not air and then moments later proceeds to show a room full of press folks the very ad. For me that dishonest Iowa press conference was enough for me to not even consider Huckabee.
