What would be the consequences if Obama tried to replace Biden with a woman?

I am not sure if intrading is trading on the Proposition that Obama drops Biden for Clinton or Sibelius, but what would be the political consequences if he were to attempt to do it?

Could he actually do it and get away with it?

Too bad John Edwards isn’t available. I think she’s pregnant.

“What would be the consequences if Obama tried to replace Biden with a woman?”

The election would be over at that point.
Obama will just have to hold on and hope McCain/Palin self destructs.

Obama made his bed, now he has to lay in it. Biden is his baby now for better or worse.

They are panicking. The below is from a blog (womanagainstsarahpalin) that was emailed to me from someone who does not know my beliefs. This is just an excerpt:

“Friends and compatriots,
We are writing to you because of the fury and dread we have felt since the announcement of Sarah Palin as the Vice-Presidential candidate for the Republican Party. We believe that this terrible decision has surpassed mere partisanship, and that it is a dangerous farce-on the part of a pandering and rudderless Presidential candidate-that has a real possibility of becoming fact.

Perhaps like us, as American women, you share the fear of what Ms. Palin and her professed beliefs and proven record could lead to for ourselves and for our present or future daughters. To date, she is against sex education, the pro-choice platform, environmental protection, alternative energy development, freedom of speech (as mayor she wanted to ban books and attempted to fire the librarian who stood against her), gun control, the separation of church and state, and polar bears. To say nothing of her complete lack of real preparation to become the second-most-powerful person on the planet.”

I don’t share others’ confidence. Biden is a disaster; from our perspective, he’s just the gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving.

But I fear that, if Biden dropped out “for the country’s sake,” and Hillary! replaced him, we’d have real, real trouble.

Since Clinton 1, and even more since Clinton 2, I have had NO (ZERO) confidence in American voters. Gore being a close call didn’t help.

If Barry is going to replace Biden, he better hurry and up and do it. States are starting to print up ballots right now for the November election.

If Barry has to replace Biden late in the campaign, then the new Veep candidate’s name may not appear on the ballot. Or the states will have to spend a lot of money to change the ballots. Which will anger state and local officials.

I think that even if Biden said due to a health condition he had to drop out there would be widespread disbelief. With the polls going the way they are the buz would be that Biden got tossed under the bus. Even if the illness was true I think most people would look at and say yeah, right Joe. Think Obama is stuck with Biden unless he feels he is going to lose anyway, why not try it.

Is there an Intrade for Hillary becoming the Democratic Presidential candidate were Obama to be disqualified and Biden to quit?

To all

Its in Hillary and her Clintonoid followers best interest that Obama’s campaign hits the ground at hyperspeed velocity. The bigger the crash and the more collateral damage (Meaning the democrats lose one of both houses of congress!) the better for Hillary & company to come in and pick up the pieces. Dean would be discredited she & her minions would be given total control of the entire party apparatus. It would be years of swag for her & her crowd !

Not only could he do it, but I guarantee he is GOING to do it. Look for Biden to withdraw within three to four weeks, if not sooner.

The only plan that could possibly work would be for 0bama to resign the presidential nomination and let Hillary step in as top banana. For the good of the party, Biden removes himself as Veep nominee and Hillary offers that to 0bama.

However, this would entail a suppression of egos that I feel is unlikely, if not impossible. For the good of the Party, you see. Also, moveon.org and foreign supporters didn't lay out all that cash for their golden boy to play second fiddle.

Or with Hillary?

Not after the slam she delivered him yesterday I think. Don't know what it was, but guess it was a good one.
