Here’s the problem with that — we have managed to focus attention on how gas prices affect the economy. This is the first time since the Great Depression that people are not blaming the president for their economic problems.
Yes, prices have been sliding down. But now we’re having OPEC slashing production [although the Saudis are rebelling], we have Venesuala increasing tensions, and now this Hurricane. Looks like we’ll have another jolt. I suspec that speculators will pile on too.
He’s gonna get real bold and claim he is cutting the taxes of 96% of taxpayers.
