I have a hurricane video that interviewed the one survivor from that hurricane party for Camille. She somehow got swept out a window and managed to (obviously) get to safety. She knew how fortunate she was.

Yep - Rita came through maybe five, six weeks after Katrina.
I know Renfest rehearsal got canceled, because Rita weekend was supposed to be our dress rehearsal weekend (yikes!), but I’d gotten married the week before and frankly wasn’t paying attention to such petty concerns as a mere hurricane. :p
