Bullsh!t ... open up on Barry Soetoro Obama if you want, but don’t give him the weight to be a representative of Black People. You have spittled a slur you should be called out for spewing ... one generation living in the United States is more than sufficient to negate your insult. I would wager you wouldn’t asked my neighbor down the street if he’s ‘still an African’ if he arrived to save your sorry butt in an auto accident ... he’s an expert EMT.
“So, what do they want, affirmative action at the ballot box? I wonder if theyll demand each black vote count for 1.5 votes compared to everyone else.”

I bet if your screen name was motorcityman you would think twice about that sentiment...
From its founding in 1854 as the anti-slavery party until today, the Republican Party has championed freedom and civil rights for blacks. And as one pundit so succinctly stated, the Democrat Party is as it always has been, the party of the four S's: Slavery, Secession, Segregation and now Socialism.More at:
Allen West, Col. US Army ret.; down in Florida. He looks to be the real deal. If he doesn't flame out, and Palin runs for Pres in '12, it would be a slam dunk with him as VP.
“Democrats have been selling black folks down the river for decades, it’s about time they wised up.”
Sad to say, but there’s no chance. The Dems have fully convinced blacks that over the last 40 years they have provided for the black community by lowering standards and expectations, with no strings attached.
African-Americans would solve long standing community problems and find individual empowerment under the Republican Party.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day; Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime.
What did they think? An election is a choice between different candidates there are no guarantees that your’s will win? I’m not against him because of his race I’m against his Marxists policies that will ruin this country.
There were no riots when Michael Steele lost in MD.
Same here, and I proudly voted for Ken Blackwell here in Ohio.
I would cut off a minor appendage if it would convince Thomas Sowell to run for POTUS on EITHER TICKET!
I’m holding out for Walter E. Williams.
Maybe some good has come out of all of this—Black Racism is out in the open from the pulpit to the race baiting primary. America has grown but Blacks, I fear, have lagged behind and still cling to their old hates. Bring forth a good Black candidate who is really above race and can being real change and maybe he will win.
Dream Ticket: Willams/Sowell 2012 (OR vice Versa)
That’s him.
You wrote: “Racism in its purest form - they are voting for him because of his race, and will be upset if he doesnt win because of his race. They are defining themselves by their race rather than as human beings, and sizing up Obama based on his race, not as a candidate. Absolutely disgusting.”.
I think “racism” is just a worn out word, even when used by nominal conservatives. I say nominal because comments like yours show that even many conservatives have drunk deeply from the well of liberal thought.
Liberal PC thought insists on it’s axioms. We are all equal. Men and woman are the same. Black and white are the same. It’s very bad, even bigoted, to vote for someone for a long list of reasons: their race, their religion, their ethnic origin. The only legitimate reason to vote against someone (goes the liberal mantra) is because of their policy positions.
This enforced sterilization and dimunition of the bounds of political discussion is the essence of poltiically correct.
Personally I see black people as pretty damn different than white people. They have their own culture. It is realted to ours, but it’s not ours. Watch BET. I don’t get a lot of it. I don’t understand all the heavily accented and slang inflected English. They have their own churches. While Rev. Wright was a revelation to me, but apparently his views are not that weird. There is an entire school of theology there to support them. Blacks have very different family structures. Over 70% of out-of-wedlock births makes single mothers the norm. THese terms “babby-daddy” and “babby-mama” are black terms for the black norms in family structure.
There are obvious physical differences between blacks and whites. One only has to look at the final 8 in track and field sprinting events to get that.
There are obvious difference in scholastic ability and intelligence, but liberals working from their axiom “we are all equal” torture themselves to come up with explanations that exclude the obvious for the easily observed gaps in black achievement on standardized tests and in academic settings.
Blacks have a different history than the rest of us. Chattel slavery is part of blacks history in the US, not whites.
Given all these differences I’m not surprised or upset that blacks what a black President. In fact it seems normal and acceptable to me. I don’t doubt that despite all his universalist rhetoric that a prime outcome of an Obama presidency would be lots of changes that were good for blacks. Obama’s commitment to larger and more comprehensive wealth transfers from “rich to poor” is really just another way of saying “from white to black.”
I think the liberal ideal is nonsense. I don’t think we should all vote only on race, but I don’t think it is meaningless either. It’s pretty central to who we are. To say that it is out of bounds as a factor is odd to me.
I remember thinking the same thing when Hugh Hewitt was on his jihad for Romney. Any caller who expressed concern over Romney’s religion was immdediately called a “bigot” by Hugh. I thought then, and think now, that is absurd. Ones’ religion says a lot about who one is. Now it is true that one can change religion, so that’s a little more acceptable (to liberals) to talk about or consider.
I am interested in the totality of who people are. I believe many of the ‘out of bounds’ factors are very very central to who people are, and I have no problem if people want to use them, even very heavily, in their decision making.
