Hillary Clinton has carefully avoided directly criticizing Sarah Palin, but the same courtesy apparently doesn't work the other way.
Palin's spokeswoman this morning issued a statement hitting Clinton for pulling out of a protest being organized by several Jewish groups outside the United Nations on Sept. 22 against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Clinton cancelled after finding out that Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, also planned to be there.
"Governor Palin believes that the danger of a nuclear Iran is greater than party or politics. She hopes that all parties can rally together in opposition to this grave threat," said Tracey Schmitt, a spokeswoman for Palin.

It’s very lame - and if Palin’s campaign HADN’T released that brief, totally appropriate statement, they would be accused of “dodging the Hillary issue.” Hey MSM, Hillary has the issues, not Sarah!

This whole thing is stupid. Hillary's staff said they were "blindsided" (that's the term they used) when they agreed, but then found out Palin was going to be there and backed out on that excuse. Now
that's a slam.
If you were invited to an event, wouldn't you ask who sponsored it and who was going to be there? Weren't they smart enough to find out before agreeing to show up?
The media spin that Palin is not gracious is predictable but it's soooo tiresome. They are desperate for her to say something bad about Hillary so they can get the PUMAs back on the plantation.

Everytime I think of anything Hillary does on behalf of Obama, I always wonder about her motive...the words I hear in my head: I come to bury Cesar, not to praise him.,Ditto that.
Obama treated Hillary like dirt and the Clinton's never forget or forgive anyone that doesn't kiss their ring.

“SHE ONLY SAID KIND WORDS ABOUT CLINTON...”
Greta interviewed a French film documentarian who filmed Palin and she had extremely positive words about Hillary then, too. It was in April, long before she had anything to gain by anything she said.
The person who wrote this headline is a stirrer-upper.

Why would anyone be surprised by this? If you see how outraged Barry gets every time someone throws an inconvenient truth
at him, this is just more of the Saul Alinsky handbook. No surprise here at all.

I don’t believe a word of any of this crap is real...It’s a setup to pit Hillary against Palin. Now who would benefit from that?Hillary probably had something else to do...she is not First Lady any longer and she is not “required” to go.

"Governor Palin believes that the danger of a nuclear Iran is greater than party or politics. She hopes that all parties can rally together in opposition to this grave threat," said Tracey Schmitt, a spokeswoman for Palin.I don't see anything about Hillary in that statement. Not even anything about Democrats.
Typical liberal - it's always about "me, me, me!"

I agree with you on this. If anything, her backing out makes her and Bambi look like the partisan ones.
