the thought of Jamie Gorelick on trial for participating in an accounting fraud gives me such a degree of pleasure

Well, you should be ashamed.
Schadenfreude like that is just reprehensible.
You won't ever catch me saying that I would love to dance under Jamie's dead, burnt carcass, hung over the entrance to the Capitol Rotunda.
Or that I'm willing to allow abortion in cases of rape, incest, or being Jamie Gorlick's mother.
Never. Shame on you.

"....I have to admit, with some shame, that the thought of Jamie Gorelick on trial for participating in an accounting fraud give me some degree of pleasure....."

Shame...? Why?

personally, I feel vindicated. If this really progresses, I will have a profound joy.

Friends of Barack

“...Barack Obama may have come up with a creative way to solve the housing recession: Let everyone buy property at a discount the way he did from Tony Rezko, and give everyone in America a discount mortgage the way Angelo Mozilo of Countrywide did for Fannie Mae’s Jim Johnson. Team Obama’s real estate and mortgage transactions are certainly a change from business as usual. They suggest old-fashioned back-scratching below even current Beltway standards...”

On The Outside Looking In:

From July 16:

In the four years since he stepped down as Fannie Mae's chief executive under the shadow of a $6.3 billion accounting scandal, Franklin D. Raines has been quietly constructing a new life for himself. He has shaved eight points off his golf handicap, taken a corner office in Steve Case's D.C. conglomeration of finance, entertainment and health-care companies and more recently, taken calls from Barack Obama's presidential campaign seeking his advice on mortgage and housing policy matters....

Its quite simple really:

1)1st term Clinton places his personal appointees in Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, as well as HUD altogether. Then Clinto begins working the Dem bankers who supported his election.

2)2nd term Clinton annoouces a house for every pot ( instead of a lobster for every pot.)

3)The Dem bankers, having drunk Clinton's Utopian Dem KOOL AID, line up to take on millions of sub prime mortgages and have Freddie and Fannie buy them, while keeping others in house they deem to be located in more secure real estate markets.

4) Bush comes along and sees a boondoggle in full force, and instead of cleaning house, gets on the band wagon himself as a kinder gentler neocon.

5) 9/11 happens, and everyone forgets the mortgage frog slowly cooking in the finance pot.

6) Other Clinton appointees who were left to their own devices in the AG Office, CIA and State, all begin anti Bush counter campaigns in conjunction with leaks to the MSM, which last well into Bush's second term.Somehow Cheny manages to clean out the military's Clinton trash, as required by Rumsfeld, so he can prosecute the WOT.

7) Peak Oil happens as a result of OPECs combining with traitorous dems, SOROS and wonks like T Boone Pickens, to keep OPEC production down, as it becomes clear that the War in Iraq is being won, and then as inflation begins, the fed would not keep mortgage rates low in order to stall inflation. The mortgage foreclosure domino effect begins.

8) The extent of the Freddie Fannie mismanagement is discovered and immedioately hush hushed.Rumblings begin. foreclosures increase in the Sping of 2007 as variable sub prime mortgages trigger owner defaults and foreclosures on a massive scale. Mortgage Bank insureres bite the bullet until they have no teeth left. The ripple effect of the finance boondoggle in the USA is felt worldwide.

9) The Russians and Iranians, senseing US economic weakness, along with the Chinese, begin a quiet policy of military expansion in the ME, the Balkans and the Pacific, and in Irans case, assitance to make nuclear weapons from North Korea and Russia.

10) The US economy is fundamentally sound except for its financial system and continues to try to rally under the tight money policies imposed by the Dem initiated boondoggle.

11) All those having drunk the Utopian KOOL AID, insist on bailing out AIG, taking over Freddie and Fannie, and now seek a 700 billion dollar bail out of the US financial system, by mortgaging America for a generation or more. If we don't do it there will be a recession they say.Its a result of crony captitalism they say , when in fact its the attempted takeover of a free economy by socilaists, masterminded by SOROS, The Dems, and the Arabs ( who, by the way are buying as much US bank stock as they can manage to control the us financial system in the future), with the aiding and abetting of George W. Bush.

12) Should we have a bail out? No , not for any love nor money. We need to f=ollow the Republican conservative action plan as put forward today, involving the suspension of all capital gains, and the reduction of all corporate taxes for 2 or 3 years. Why should the US taxpayer pay for partisan Dem, neocon, unwanted Utopian Dreams that have failed. The US public did not ask for or vote for that Wet Dream.

13) Let there be a recession if needed and let the economy heal itself. Prosecute those who committed crimes in this boondoggle. This is hardly the failure of "capitalism." Its a failure of Clinton socialism. The Dems will use the bail out bill to assign themselves earmarks to the tune of 500 billion, which Bush should veto, and to provide relief to homeowners ( translation: reward the party faithful with cheap mortgagaes and really expensive houses had at cheap prices, before the election.)

So they mean to screw the US taxpayer in order to save themselves from their own Utopian based schtick.

Obamas job is to take the presidency for SOROS, and make the conversion of the United States into a completely natinalist/socialist society, with reduced protection of personal freedoms of US citizens via Obama's appointment of social engineering judges who legislate from the bench of SCOTUS, and then give US aid at the rate of 7% of the US GNP annually to the very terorists that we have been fighting since 9/11, and to petty tyrants like Obama's cousin, Odinga of Kenya.

Same Clinton KOOL AID , only much more poisonous.

If Obama is elected, he will immediately begin seeking ways to void the two term limitation on the Office of the US President. Obama means to become the first Nationalist/Socialist Dictator of the United States, circumventing the electoral process for the purpose of socially engineering America into a multi cultural state with all trappings of a banana republic, run by minorities prosecuting a vigorous cultural demographic war.

You'll never hear Sandra Bernhard invite Gorelick up to NY to be gang raped by her big Black friends.

Though, perhaps no one would be more deserving.

Clothes That Work: Beth Wilkinson

Wilkinson's navy-blue Féraud outfit works for work and for social occasions. The two pieces are $1,600 at Saks Jandel, 5510 Wisconsin Ave., Chevy Chase; (301) 652-2250.

Executive vice president and general counsel, Fannie Mae

Her work style: “I like to be business-appropriate but feminine. Whether I wear a suit, slacks, or a dress, tailoring and good material are important.”

Designers she wears: “I feel great in Louis Féraud suits—one of my favorites is blue with a pinstriped jacket and bouclé skirt. Theory is good for simple pieces with a bit of a ‘downtown’ look.”

On her feet: “I love high heels. Stuart Weitzman shoes are comfortable, and I also wear Manolo Blahniks. I’m getting a pair of Jimmy Choo black patent open-toe shoes for spring.”

Sophisticated extras: Scarves by Pucci and Hermès.

The problem with placing Barney Franks in cuffs and tossing him in a small room with beds and other men that haven’t seen a woman in years is that he’d probably like what happens to him.

I thought Raines and Gorelick already got "punished" for their accounting fraud. They made tens upon tens of millions while at Fannie and Freddie, and got fined 5 or 6 million or so.

Our so-called Government is a total joke.
