You beat me to it...lol.

If this were a likely voter poll, it would probably show McCain/Palin +5.

So McCain made up what he’d lost in the past week?

Obambi keeps losing ground. Hey Natasha, I think you called it too early!

Looks like deciding to return to DC by Mr. McCain worked out all right.

Caught Mr. Obama flat-footed and looking like an opportunist and not a patriot...nor a senator.

Huh? And just yesterday there were people on FR who were hysterical because Barry was up by 9.
Polls are worthless at this point in time.

I don’t believe the American people are that fickle that so many would change their minds from day to day.

The differences between Obama/Biden and McCain/Palen could not be more stark.

Something isn’t right about these polls.

I submit that the margin of error may be a lot larger, by factors of two or three or more, than the statisticians say they are.

Never would have guessed it would jump that much. That is encouraging.

Lets hope McCain's decision to suspend his campaign is seen by the American people as the act of patriotism that it truly is, instead of the MSM spin that it is mere political posturing.

More likely, a very big Obama day dropped off the tracking, and a positive McCain day took it’s place.

Whatever happened, I smell panic in the Obama camp. His surge is gone and now McCain owns the economy PLUS he has Bill Clinton's silent endorsement!

Gallup says that last night was not a huge night for McCain, rather that he has started to do better over the last several days. Definitely better news than I was expecting in this one to be honest.

A night by night analysis of interviewing results, however, does not suggest that McCain had a dramatically better night against Obama on Wednesday. Instead, the data show that McCain has been doing slightly better for the last three days than he had in the previous week, and with some strong Obama days falling off of the rolling average, the race has moved to its current tied position. This is the first report since Sept. 13-15, in which Obama did not have at least a one percentage point edge.
