In late 1993, Bill Ayers, now an associate professor of education at the University of Illinois Chicago Circle Campus, organized a team to put together a grant proposal to secure nearly $50 million from the Annenberg Challenge. The money was to be used by Ayers and co. to bolster the radical Local School Councils reform project that Ayers and Obama had championed back in 1988 through the ABCs.

The grant application was successful and in early 1995 Barack Obama was named chairman of the board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. Ayers was named co-chair of the Challenge’s operative and strategic body, the Chicago School Reform Collaborative. Ayers and Obama work together for the next five years on raising an additional $60 million in matching money from local foundations and corporations and using the money to intervene in the governance of the Chicago public schools.

The Challenge through a multi-million dollar Leadership Development Initiative intervened in the School Council elections in the middle of what was known as the Chicago School Wars. At the same time Chicago Mayor Richard Daley was pushing, successfully, to gut the power of the Councils.

"One of Bill Ayers’ and Bernardine Dohrn’s comrades in the late 60s Students for a Democratic Society was Mike Klonsky. When Dohrn and Ayers moved in one direction toward the violent tactics of the Weather Underground, Klonsky, in the wake of the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia, dropped the pro-Russian communist politics of his parents and became a committed Maoist. As leader of the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) in 1977 [not to be confused with Communist Party USA. CPML no longer exists, CPUSA formed decades earlier and is still around-ETL], he travelled to Beijing and was toasted by the senior Beijing leadership.

When the crazy left of the 70s died in the 80s, Klonsky went to graduate school in education in Florida and then moved to Chicago.

While driving a cab there he [Michael Klonsky] was recruited by his old friend Bill Ayers to head up a new project called the Small Schools Workshop in 1991. It’s offices were in the Department of Education building at the University of Illinois Chicago Circle Campus where Ayers taught.

In 1995 the newly formed Chicago Annenberg Challenge headed by Ayers and Obama gave the Workshop a grant of $175,000.

The Annenberg Challenge also had its office space in the same building as Ayers Department and the Workshop, rent free courtesy of the University.

In 2008 Klonsky ran a blog on the official Obama campaign website on education policy and “social justice” teaching. When discussion of the Klonsky blog emerged in the blogosphere, it was promptly shut down by the campaign and all of the posts made by Klonsky were removed from the site."

Also in 1977, Klonsky traveled to China and the CPML was recognized by the Chinese Communist Party as its official sister party in America.

There are probably better than half the citizenry now voting to protect handouts, and perceived handouts, that they believe they will receive. Most of them don’t even understand fully what Socialism is. Just don’t ask them to give something to the system, as that is not fair.

The politicians move in the direction of giving voters what they want. Half the politicians probably don’t fully understand where this is going. But they promise to increase and protect those handouts, as that is where the voters are.

The only way to change this is to limit voting to the “payers”. The “net recipients” have a conflict of interest and are not voting in the best long term interests of the country, or themselves.

We will become the same as Europe, if we survive.

And, the media is obviously not helping. Hey, reporters, want to rebel, speak truth to power! And the power is now on the left. Worldwide.

It was recorded that, for the Alaska purchase, 300% of the US congress had been bribed to vote one way or another. That is, it averaged out to each congressmen getting three different bribes.

Ol’ Frank Roosevelt expanded the commerce clause in the US constitution so much that it covered virtually every aspect of American life. Even elevator operators were covered, because they might transport someone who had crossed State lines doing business. Farmers could no longer grow what they wanted, when they wanted, and the WPA channeled huge amounts of money to local Democrats who would only hire other Democrats.

George Washington was the first president to blatantly violate the US constitution, sending federal troops against US citizens in the Whiskey Rebellion.

Even though they weren’t fully US citizens, Andrew Jackson ethnically cleansed most of the Indians from East of the Mississippi and sent them to desolate lands out West.

Woodrow Wilson nationalized the railroads for World War I, and every bureaucrat in Washington then ordered their own rail car to pick them up, to show how important they were. It created a rail jam that lasted for almost four years. After he was left comatose by a stroke, Mrs. Wilson ran the country for about six months.

While in office Lyndon Johnson’s shipping company monopolized almost all US military cargo transported to and from Vietnam, turning himself into a billionaire.

When Grover Cleveland was in his second term, in 1895, a two year long economic crisis nearly bankrupted the US government. Were it not for the intervention of J.P. Morgan, the man, the government would have found itself in the same situation we find ourselves today.

But does it mean the US is “over”? Heck no.

It does mean, however, that the US can no longer have a budget deficit for *any* reason, including Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid, or even Defense. And in fact, will have to have a substantial surplus if our economy is to recover. And it is not their choice. They could have chosen to watch their spending, but time and time again, they refused.

So it is no longer their choice. They can whine all they want, but they can’t spend a penny more than the tax revenue brings in. And to make matters worse, for the next two years, tax revenues might be down by double digits.

Sarah Palin has lost her momentum because the attack ads worked and the GOP didn’t seem to fight back all that much. People around here don’t read, and admit it while laughing. They ‘hate politics’ but they will be voting in November, and they will vote against the current administration because ‘everything happened on their watch and the government should do something good for a change’. And trust me - that’s as deep as they’ll think about it. They don’t bother to ask why something may be the way it is.

I can’t look at the glass half-full anymore, either. Republicans always fail to understand that many people vote on emotion - not fact - and I think sometimes the power of collective emotion is underestimated.

Have heart, America is not defeated...indeed cannot be defeated. American philosophy of individual rights, rights to life, defend ourselves, happiness, free speech, etc. are not man’s creation. These are endowed upon us by our maker. They are the TRUTH, the REALITY. All the left, or anyone who wishes to try to deprive us of this, can do is distort reality, distort truth. But, nature...God’s laws are not distortable, they do not bend. They are what makes our universe and our lives.

We may be in for some rough times...but we cannot lose the war, it is simply impossible to because we are on the side of what is right and true.

Evil has been expanding it’s power throughout the world, but so has Good. Those who can recognize good from evil and are willing to fight against evil are truly the fortunate ones. We have opportunity here, we have a cause...something to live and fight for. Indeed, something worthy to sacrifice our lives for. What more can we ask of a purposeful, good life?

Consider the other side, they fight for killing babies, for taking away the people’s ability to defend themselves, to limit greatly free speech, personal property, family and morality. How debased, how empty their lives are. They take glee in the lowering of societal standards, they dwell in the gutters and gloat about it.

Would it make sense to, having the knowledge we have, to desire that debased and empty life? Will we try to hide from the face of Evil?

There is only one path to follow, that is to fight against the evil that is upon us. We cannot do that by hatred for those who have fallen under the “spell” of evil, but with love to light the path and show the way out. We cannot do that by being ashamed or afraid. We have to be strong in our love of liberty and goodness.

So, be strong. Do not give up hope. Believe that most people when exposed to good and shown evil will choose good. And, thank God every day for the opportunity to have such a meaningful life.
