Did you watch the Dow go down another 100 points while they were talking?

All the Dems have done through this whole thing is play politics and try to place blame. McCain should run with this. No Republicans have said anything like that during these whole negotiations. The only time I heard anyone say anything was today, after the vote, when the Republicans said her negative speech prior to the vote is what turned some Republicans away.

I assume it involves suspending capital gains, Sarbanes-Oxley...I would love to check out their proposal. It would be nice to have a bill giving the market tools to work this out rather than government ownership stakes in private financial firms.

And you’re right, it’s all about insurance (paid for by the banks?), and getting rid of Mark-to-Market (I can’t explain that one! but it’s bad if it stays), and slashing taxes across the board, as well as oversight, and de-regulation (which we have to POUND into the Dems supporters’ heads is NOT the same as NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR OVERSIGHT! Ugh...). The best part is that it doesn’t use ONE tax dollar. It’s all borne by the industry itself. AND, it doesn’t give unchecked, and unbalanced power to the Treasury Secretary.

I do not think that God interferes a lot in politics or most of the things that we do in life. I am not telling you that we need give up on working hard to elect McCain, however now we need to work much harder than before.
