“Fine parody but dangerous.”
I agree with you. Of course, with our honest and unbiased media, this really shouldn’t be a problem. (Do I really need to add “sarcasm” after that??)

No wonder rumors mount that Sen. McCain is now seeking a possible graceful exit for the gaffe-prone Palin, even as the Obama campaign continues to make the contrast with their own sober and circumspect Joe Biden. Joe Biden is neither sober nor circumspect.

Good satire.
BTW, I think Palin should begin her opening remarks by congradulating Gwen Ifill on her upcoming book.
Do it with class, and with a smile on her face.
And never mention it again during the debate.
There will not be enough popcorn on the planet to munch on during the following news cycle if she did that.

I must be without a sense of humor. I kept waiting for the author to say that he was actually talking about Biden instead of Palin. There are enough fools out there to read this and actaully believe it.

Mods:
NationalReview.com has a big PARODY on their front page where this link is. Might FR do the same?

Oh, I wish I would have known that before I replied. Don't feel bad, the only way you could have possibly known is ...
if you'd been paying attention for the past year or so.

You can expect the unscrupulous MSM to pick up quotes from this piece and use them to smear Gov. Palin. I wonder if anyone listens to "Imus in the Morning." His show is one long smear of Sarah Palin - ever since McCain picked her as his running mate.
I am tempted to send him this article - just to see if he is dumb enough to take it literally.

We need a rule here on FR to place (Satire) in the heading of any satire materials. Or ... fewer clueless, reactionary posters

I get it, very good!!! But what about the 2 females at NR that trashed Sarah???
If I had a subscription to NR (I don`t) I would have quickly cancelled it regardless of this article.

OK, I can usually tell he's not sober. But how do you know he's not circumspect? Did you peek in the bathroom?
