If he is not willing to take off he gloves, he may as well just pull out of the election. The man is pathetic.

There’s no way Detroit was going to vote for him to the point where it would have made a difference in the state.

Hey McLame I thought the illegals would vote for you?? What about the moderates and dems? McLame is so predictable - after he loses he will be demanding that conservatives caused his downfall and will immediately work with the Obama administration to screw us over even more.

Wake up McLame - time to go on the offense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably not counting Detroit - Bush was winning the whole state in both '00 and '04, then the Detroit returns came in and it was all over. I think they may be underestimating the statewide economic despair caused by Kilpatrick and Granholm.

Based on 'unnamed sources'.

Good luck with that.

Don't know I am not volunteering at this point.

Agghh...The State RNC can be not the greatest at times, but Mass. is worse.

If Obama has Michigan in the bag, why is he and his wife doing so many rally’s there today?

Why not at least wait until tomorrow to decide?
Tonight may change the whole ballgame.

As long as John keeps his mouth shut and Sarah leads we still have a chance.

That’s stunning to me, and I hope the report is false. Last I saw, the polls were close there.

Still, Michigan is a state Kerry won, so we don’t need it per se. But I was counting on it to counteract Colorado in the event it goes for Obama, as polls suggest it may. We now have to win Colorado since the polls show a big Obama lead in Iowa and New Mexico, which Bush carried.

Could be a very late election night with the Rocky Mountain region deciding it.

If you're first instinct is to post something negative, then you're doing exactly what the pollsters and the media want you to do.

Eyes on the prize, people....

Michigan is Fool’s Gold for the GOP. Way too much union.

The money would be better spent in PA, which is very winnible.

Yeah, this was 2nd to PA in potential pick up states. Without this he either thinks he can hold all Bush’s states or just plain giving up because he has to.

McCain winning Michigan was always a long shot.
McCain needs to focus on the Bush states plus NH
& Colorado. He can lose IA & Nevada and still win with this path. All focus needs to be on FL , Virginia , N carolina,
Colorado , NH and maybe a secondary focus on PA & Wisc.
