Don't know what to make of it but it seems that this poll is tracking very similar to all of the rest of the polls, and movement to Obama still seems to be occurring.

I don't doubt we're behind.

What I have a hard time believing is:

1.) The assumed turnout gap.
2.) That even at 50%+ in the polls (allegedly), Obama is still increasing in the Polls?

Are we still going to believe the polls when Obama hits 60%?

Battlegound went from using a DEM+3 model 3 weeks ago, to now using a DEM +8.

How McCain ever show an uptick with that bias?

They NEED to come up with a strong economic countermessage for the debate. Simple as that.

Well, let us maintain high hopes, without entertaining false expectations.

According to these polls, if the election were held today, 0bama would win.

Did you ask President Kerry about the accuracy of the polls?

It isn’t over yet.

Manipulation, just like everything else in the media.

If you want it to say that way, do nothing.
If you want it to change, get off your butts and do something.

Go to or call RHQ in your area today and ask what you can do!

I live in Michigan and I haven’t given up hope yet!

BE NOT AFRAID!! God helps those who helps themselves.

Great news! I hope McCain's collapse also translates into 60+ Democratic senators in January to help President Obama pass his agenda.

Finally, we have hope for a President who will take responsibility for his actions, unlike the multiple failures America has endured over the past 7.5 years.

Do you all not remember 2004 when the polls did the same thing in October for Kerry? How about exit polls showing Kerry was winning. Short memories around here by some folks.

Turn out and ignore the polls. Even the Dems are not believing the polls in favor of Obama in talking to some of them.

I am so sick and tired of seeing polls I could scream and I would say the same thing if McCain were ahead because then I would be very worried. I talked to a leading Dem in my State at the post office and he said the polls are scewed for Dems and they are not taking into consideration the Hillary supporters who will NEVER vote for Obama and the Bradley factor which he said is real.

As a Dem he said the MSM is trying to elect Obama and they know the truth about him. Learned a lot talking with him last week.

Start making calls for Sen McCain, work your email list to make sure people vote as the only poll that counts is the results of election day.

McCain has conceeding the blame for the economy. With the Dow plunging 500 points as of this moment, Obama will win 40 states. I am not sure if McCain can reclaim any economic credibility at this point. He has tomorrow night to try.

Freepers, Great Americans , et al.

Don't worry about the polls please. There is no doubt that Obama enjoyed a nice momentum shift during September and is probably up nationally between 3-5%.
We are now entering a momentum shift of our own during the final stretch and we will peak at the perfect time. McCain team is finally on the attack, Palin now has credibility after a fantastic debate performance, and we have plenty of 527s that are ready to unload.
Lets get to work!

Carter and Reagan were neck and neck, with Carter considered the probable winner. Reagan won in a landslide with a 10 point lead.

Today, it's politically correct to say you're for Oboma to avoid being tagged a "racist", but once your in the voting booth, you can freely express yourself without politically correct intimidation.

My conspiracy theory is that the polls are being manipulated to show a strong showing for the Lamb of Chicago so that in the event of a McCain win, the MSM can scream that the Republicans cheated and all sorts of craziness will ensue.

It's all about ratings.
