Fair enough. I just find myself wishing Mac were someone he is not, to pull some kind of rabbit from the hat. The question is, how does this affect the undecided voters.

Power is power. And as a civilized nation, we got to have it, and it depends on what is cheaper, and that will determine national interest. If there is a global monopoly on windmill blades, we won’t go to war. Our entire economy, military, and the local landscaper weed wacker runs on gas. It will take time to wean our way off of it.
