"Rezko also was friendly with Obama — offering him a job when he finished law school, funding his earliest political campaigns and purchasing a lot next to his house."

Could AP be any shorter on details?

AP: “Nothing to see here. Move along. Obama is clean as the driven snow.” Surprise surprise...

Sounds like wishful thinking on the AP’s part.

Somewhere in an AP newsroom in America a reporter is rockin’ the prayer beads in hopes Obama escapes this unscathed.

I don’t think so.

I wish my New Orleans Saints offensive line could run interference like that for Deuce McAllister.

If obama is elected the country will be pre occupied
again with endless scandals from a democrat president.
Rezko,ACORN,Ayers,Kenya and on and on it goes.

He's a sharp con man. An accomplished habitual liar who
may have the distinction of casting Bill Clinton as a
statesman in comparison. Obama is an incredibly gifted
grifter.

Tony Rezko the cash cow to Illinois democrats is singing like a canary. No code of omerta’ from this cheap crook.

" CHICAGO - Jailed political fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko, the Chicago real estate developer who helped launch Barack Obama on his political career, is whispering secrets to federal prosecutors about corruption in Illinois and the political fallout could be explosive. "

Well,,, if this is so.... let's hope it's not to little to late.... let's hope it will have a devastating effect on Osama Obama.

McCain and vice running mate Sarah Palin have mentioned Rezko little if at all

Whoa, with Reuters giving Palin a little credit in their article on the Troopergate judgement and now AP with headlines linking Hussein with a crimminal they are handing McCain a golden opportunity to save this election. But no, McCain will just tell the voters what a good president Hussein would be.

From the moment he was arrested, prosecutors leaned on Resko to squeal on Blagojevich and Obama, but he wouldn’t do it. With his final sentencing hearing coming up, Resko thought twice and started talking to get a lighter sentence. People involved with the investigation have already revealed that he is giving them information about BOTH men. Prosecutors have already hinted that an indictment awaits Blagojevich...

Hillary at work. The federal bureaucracy is owned by the clintons. It’s a tool that will be put to good use.

It’s my belief that the federal bureaucracy has no interest in sharing its power with a gang of nobama thugs. Nobama and his Marxist mob would move in and destroy the golden taxpayer goose. That would also the destroy the fat bureaucracy. That will not be allowed.

"Rezko also was friendly with Obama — offering him a job when he finished law school, funding his earliest political campaigns and purchasing a lot next to his house."

Please correct my memory if I'm wrong, but didn't he buy the lot from Obama and weren't there issues with the purchase price? If so, the omission of such an important and relevant fact is yet another sign of the typical AP bias.

This story is absolute garbage for one simple reason, the US Attorney’s Office doesn’t talk about investigations, period. I called Pat Fitzgerald’s office yesterday and spoke to a gentleman in the public relations section. I asked him if Fitz had expanded his investigation to cover ACORN, the Obama campaign, Obama himself, members of his campaign staff and the DNC. I was told emphatically, no cracks, no hints, nothing, that the US Attorney’s Office does not comment on investigations, no how no way. I then asked if I could file a Freedom of Information Request, he then told me that FOI law does not apply to Justice Department criminal investigations. That said, where does the AP come off spewing this garbage when they don’t know?

There has been no official confirmation that Rezko is talking

This appears to be another "non-story" by the AP. All rumors. No fact.

The Drive-by media is not going to report anything that damages Obama so McCain need not wait for some Rezko report or investigation to blast him with it. Make Obama explain how he got his multimillion dollar house at a discount rate.

It says, "...there's no indication there'll be an October surprise that could hurt the Democratic presidential nominee..."

How does that jibe with your thread's title?

Rezko and Fitz aren't going to give up B. Hussein. That would be suicide! I only wish that this were likely.
