He gave a long resume, lifelong Dem, impressive if true. Probably a Hillary supporter.
Until we have a national biometric ID system, with redundancies built in for back-up (i.e. retaining a full set of records at federal AND state AND county levels), we’ll never know who anybody really is or where they were really born. We don’t know who the registered voters are, we don’t know who’s here illegally, we don’t know who the employees are in secure areas of airports or in nursing homes where they have unfettered access to extremely vulnerable people, we don’t know who the person is that we rented an apartment to. Until conservatives (and others) get over the idea that the government has no right to require us to prove who we really are, then we won’t ever really know who anybody else is. Unfortunate, but true.
Shame Berg didn’t file sooner. If this case is delayed until after the election and Obama is elected, Obama will find a way to have this thrown out. That is why it is important to have proof before November - which is only a few weeks away.

You're right about not convincing hard-core Dems, but what McCain is after is the squishy twenty to twentyfive percent. He's only behind in many polls by four or five points. He just has to persuade about two and one-half to three percent of the pollees to change their minds. Any ammunition helps.
I think it’s a great video, and I think this issue is vitally important.
I sent it to my list and urged them all to watch it.
It is not over-the-top emotional. It does not exaggerate or play creep music. But absolutely everything he says is factual.
And, IMHO, unanswerable.
Obama has stonewalled and refused to produce his birth records for going on six months now. WHY? What is he hiding?
It is inconceivable that someone who is running for president, whose citizenship is in grave doubt, would refuse to produce his birth records.
What, is he refusing because he is lazy? Because he is contrary? Because he is, well, odd? Because he just doesn’t feel like it? None of that makes any sense.
We must demand, more and more loudly, that he produce ALL OF HIS OFFICIAL BIRTH RECORDS, including the original hospital records complete with footprint.
They have run a lot of stories against it, but none of them are conclusive.

If, as it appears, Lolo Soetero took Barry and Stanley Ann Dunham to Indonesia, adopting him or claiming guardianship, enrolled him in school, and went through the correct motions of his becoming an Indonesian citizen, as paperwork evidence suggests, the US required Barry to reclaim his U.S. citizenship through his own action at the time he reached majority. If he didn't do that, and no record found suggests he did, Barry may not even be a US citizen. If documentation showing that he took an oath of citizenship long ago doesn't exist, it's possible he's an illegal alien or at minimum, no longer able to be considered a "natural-born citizen," as is required to be eligible for the presidency, even if he was able to get a US passport by showing, for example, the Hawaiian COLB Daily KOS has had on their website.

We really don’t know.
His mother did announce his birth in a Hawaian newspaper, a few days after he was supposedly born there. But she could have done that in any case, and perhaps would have if, as speculated, he was born before she arrived there. Newspapers normally do not fact check such announcements as births, deaths, and marriages, when they are provided by the parties involved.
We don’t know anything for sure about that, but there are written records photographed by the media which show that he was registered as Barry Soetoro, Muslim, and Indonesian citizen, when he attended school in Indonesia. And Indonesia at that time did not permit dual citizenship.
We DO know that Obama is a serial liar, who hides his past, constantly changes his story at his convenience, and therefore cannot simply be trusted to tell us the truth about himself. To take one instance, he has repeatedly said that he was “never” a Muslim—and that is an outright lie. He was born a Muslim, adopted as a Muslim, educated for several years as a Muslim, and attended services at a mosque. Perhaps he is not a Muslim now, but having lied about the basics, why should we believe him?
No, we don’t know if he was born in Hawaii or not. But his word is insufficient, because he is known to lie about such matters. We need documentary evidence.
