Does Obama even NEED Ohio, though?
To: snarkytart
Nope. Just one of OH, FL, NC, IN, VA, CO, or NV does the trick for Obama.

If he does not win Ohio then he is not going to win Virginia or Florida that voted for President Bush by larger winning margin than Ohio did in 2004. In this case Obama only hope is to win Colorado, New Mexico, and Iowa so he can with the elections.

According to the polls, he does not. I don’t lend a lot of gravitas to polls and even less this election. If Obama is leading, for example, in Virginia, Colorado and New Mexico and these predictions see fruition.......................No, Obama doesn’t need Ohio.

No, but this could signal that Obama is in trouble and all the close races in states he will probably lose!

"Does Obama even NEED Ohio, though?" No, however if he DOES win Ohio that is most likely game over for McCain.

Not if he manages to take Colorado and Virginia.
