I agree that Danforth and Rudman are setting up Obama for McCain to challenge him to correct the voter registration fraud that is going on.
I’m thinking the same. Looks like they want to force Obama to either defend ACORN or throw them under the bus. Either of those options is bad for Obama.

I have not heard or read a single word about Rudman and Danforth allegedly working “behind the scenes”.
And I read a lot.
What is your source for this tidbit and what on earth have these two done besides this press conference?
I sensed this many months ago when Her Heinous was widely panned in NYC for not taking a stand against voting without ID.
NYC has never cared in the past.

Of course...they say the same thing every year. However, this year has to be the worst.
The reason that ACORN/Obama trains the ‘community organizers’ to pay for folks to register many times with cigs and cash is so that when they are ‘found out’...they can just say; “look..these people are the ‘poor and disenfranchised’ in society...how can you blame them for wanting to commit fraud in order to get the ‘essentials’ in life that racist America denies them”....blahblahblah.
You get the picture.
What's going on here? I thought part of our battle on FR was to defend and protect the Constitution at all costs. It's a shame to lose the best and brightest minds over Rudy.
Yep. This is a HUGE story and is not going to overlooked any further.
I read a few weeks ago that Rudman and Danforth were setting up a voter fraud commission (headquartered in New Hampshire, I think).
When I heard that I suspected that they were going to be pushing to counteract some big attempts at cheating.
Lo and behold...it was then that the high-profile stories about ACORN started coming out.
These 2 guys aren't flashy. But they are widely regarded as being able to get a job done.

Let me say that I hope with all my heart you are right.
And let me say again....the best, the absolute BEST, insurance against rampant voter fraud is an involved and aggressive opposition party and nothing less.
So let’s hope that the pubbies are on this.
Given all the anger out here by the base, why isn’t such a thing widely known?
