You weren't allowed to campaign in favor of the Mayor of America here earlier in the year.
Well, the anger here is largely due to the fact that more stories are coming out i.e. it is becoming more widely known.
Do not get me wrong; I was not a Rudy supporter, but I feel he deserves respect for the good that is in him. We all have some good, don't we?
We passed a law for voter ID....got it confirmed at the SCOTUS and Ricotta's office is handling both the issues in Lake and Marion County our two “NUTTY” counties.)
The publicity regarding Marion County have 105% of eligible people registered to vote is even being taken care of. (Our local area is sending two people (R+D) to work as a team to help clear up the back log ....It was 110% two years ago.
Indeed Indiana is to be emulated.
Love you sig line by the way. ;)
I think they’re like the old Yippees. They get a thrill out of disrupting and obstructing. I like it when they’re called corrupt, because that’s what they are. Not innocent disillusioned kids, corrupt, leftist thugs.
Wait till they start making the blind perform surgery on you, Comrade. THEN we’ll start to have true equality.
Vonnegut wrote a story about a world where the graceful had to wear lead weights, the bright had to have a siren go off in their heads, and the beautiful had to wear fright masks.
You were smart :)
Basically he gives you a tax credit of up to $5000 and then you have to use that to buy health care insurance and if you have any left over it goes into an account for out of pocket medical expenses. So instead of sending it to the government, you use it for your own health care. Somehow Obama has said this is a tax.Under McCain's plan the employer-funded portion of your health insurance is taxed. You still get the credit, but if the employer plan is expensive enough, your taxes will indeed go up.
Personally I am not happy about this. I changed jobs recently and the employer I picked was on that has really good health insurance. I considered this when I took the job, and I took a lower salary than several other offers I had because it was balanced out by the better health insurance. So for me, McCain's plan may result in a tax increase.
Under Obama, of course, we get socialized medicine, which also negates the benefits from my current employer. It's really disheartening.
Speaking of books.....It is looking more and more like Ayn Rand’s ‘Atlas Shrugged’ was a prophecy and not just a ‘novel’....(shrug)
Darn. I take it I missed it :(
Great chart Jeff. Gotta print a few of these out to give to my undecided friends.
Thanks for posting.
Exactly.

...as well.
Yup. Back in April 2007. And FR hasn't been the same since, IMO...
The employer-required health issue depresses wages. I wish McCain would come out and say he wants to change the law that says only employers can collective and negotiate rates. He needs to say that any group that wants to do so can - churches, alumni, whatever.
He is speaking SO slowly and in SUCH a monotone that by the time he got around to specifics, everybody’s asleep! SHEESH!
Actual indictments in Wisconsin. I didn’t know there had been any. Was anyone else awake to catch it?
Thanks a million, Jeff! What a super chart, and supporting links. Needless to say, I have forwarded it widely.
