The meeting between Joe the plumber and Barack Obama
Joe Wurzelbacher is an Ohio man thinking of buying a plumbing business who has briefly come to prominence in the US presidential debate.
Last week, when Democratic candidate Barack Obama came to his hometown of Holland, Ohio, Mr Wurzelbacher told the presidential hopeful that the Democrat's tax plans would prevent him from buying the business where he has worked for years.
Mr Wurzelbacher said the company earned $250,000-$280,000 (£144,800-£162,250) a year, and he challenged Mr Obama: "Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it?"
Mr Obama said that under his proposals, taxes on any revenue below $250,000 would remain the same, but that earnings above that level would be subject to a 39% tax, instead of the current 36% rate.
Mr Obama said that 95% of small businesses earned less than $250,000 and that he wanted to give those small businesses a tax cut.

By extensions, McCain and all Americans are winners.
But, because Joe the Plumber was honest about the impact of the Obama plans from his perspective, and because he did not drink the Obama kool-aid, the MSM, the DNC, and the Obama campaign now consider that hard working, well spoken, young man as the enemy.
They are already beginning to attack him relentlessly.
So be it, it will reflect badly back on them just as their attacks on Sarah have done.
Just as Patrick Henry indicated, and that truth still holds today...if we will hold the course, God in Heaven will raise up friends to help fight these battles.
Sarah Palin is one such friend...now, out of obscurity, Joe the Plumber is another.
All thanks for this goes, IMHO, to a merciful God in Heaven! and millions of hard working, partiotic, loyal Americans who will not give up...two of which, Joe and Sarah, have been brought forth before us all to express these sentiments.
The truth is that the left, the Obama campaign, the DNC, and the MSM will lie, fabricate, misquote, commit fruad, beg, borrow, or steal in their effort to slow down what is happening on the ground with the McCain campaign right now, and particularly with the likes of Joe and especially Sarah Palin who is burrowing underneath all of their hype and drawing 25-30,000 people at a time to her rallies and getting the message of hope and conservative values out.
Obama and his ilk know it, they fear it, and they will do anything they can to stop it...but they shall also fail in the attempt. Truth has a way of shining all the brighter in darkness.

The left and MSM are going after Joe with a vengence. I pray God holds him in the hollow of His Hand and protects him from the firestorm they are unleashing against him.
That Palin Hiding gallery is really spectacular.
In addition...those pics sure do not look like a campaign that is on the ropes and on the verge of losing to me.
Notice how you rarely see pics of Obama's rallies anymmore...and never of Biden's?
From that you have to know that their crowds are relatively small in comparison.
They are also trying to hide Palin's success, but we are getting it from bloggers and those who are attending.

We all have our differences with McCain, but I truly believe he can be a positive and credible leader on the war, on energy independence, and on reining in wasteful gubmint spending. And say what you will about the gang o' 14, the end result was that, with his old pal Fred Thompson's help, we got Alito and Roberts. It's not unreasonable to expect good justice picks from McCain. We'll disagree on some things, but those items I just mentioned are pretty much the top priorities for our nation, doncha think?
Joe the Plumber...the way they are viciously attacking him. It's amazing. I just hope Americans still have enough sense. Barack Hussein Obama???? You've got to be joking. Let it be a LANDSLIDE for McCain Palin. I'll have to take a day or two off from work just to watch CNN and MSNBC and gloat. I wanna see Peggy Noonan on "Morning Joe" commiserating with the other useful idiots. End rant.

What was that sound I just heard? Oh, a backfire! They’ve screwed the pooch this time. It was bad enough what they did to Governor Sarah Palin and her family, but she’s a politician and we expect them to be able to handle the rough-and-tumble, especially in the big leagues! But Joe the Plumber is just like you-and-me, a working stiff, dreaming of buying out his boss someday and becoming successful. He’s not running for anything, yet they send private eyes, opposition research and the media after him because he inadvertently embarrassed Lord Obama! FRiends, that is what Kim Jung Il, Mao, Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pot would’ve done! This is America, not a tyrannical dictatorship! Tomorrow I will make 200 phone calls in support of McCain/Palin and send them $200, and I challenge everyone here to do the same!!
The video made Joe the draw to get us to listen to what was almost entirely Obama’s selling points and it left out the money quote of spreading the wealth.
That was a very carefully constructed BBC propaganda piece, even closing with, that Joe has no state plumbing license.
